Just curious of the texture and how its held up. Nothing but positive reviews that I've read but I trust you guys on here more than the reviews.

I have heard good things but have no Personal experience. From the pictures I have seen the texture looks similar to powder coat

We use it on some parts of the race cars. Helps cut down on prep time as bare metal gets rusty after going through the wash in Ensenada. The finish looks good too.

Ive been using it for years on stuff. its got a slight texture but its not like bedliner. As for how it holds up? 10x better than paint on suspension stuff ive hit it with. My tacos rear locker cover i did 8 years ago. after multiple winters it still looks like when i painted it

reminds me i need to prep my skidplate for a steelit job this weekend

Well I’ll give it a go. We’ll see how well it holds up to New York winters and all the salt they dump on the roads

I'm really debating doing this or a primer/ base coat on my new suspension. Winter is coming!

Huh. Thanks @Erichudgins, I learn something new every day here. Rave reviews but pricey ($31.42 for 14 oz rattle can). Recommended prep is blasted substrate or 36 grit scratches. Polyurethane with stainless steel flake...it should stick well and be durable.

Got this done a few weeks ago. I'm hoping it holds up well.

Thanks for the reply. If you were to need to touch it up how do you prep the surface? I know the prep on bare steel is incredibly important but I haven't read much on touching up chips or scraped up spots on sliders.
