Bought my first one and drove home 850 miles in the same day! Hate to be selling my 97' FJ80 but needed something with a little more utility and easier to get the kid in and out of. Learning a lot from this site already. Hello everyone!20190407_122906.jpg

So, my 2nd battery went from 10.13vdc yesterday to 11.59 today after a 30 minute drive to church and back this morning. I'm pretty happy with that since it hasn't seen a charge for a bit over a month.

    IMG_20190407_142905229.jpg

I'm using a 25ah sealed battery scavenged from a UPS.

    IMG_20190407_142756199.jpg

    On to the next project!

I have already tinted the front windows, I'm a fair-skinned lad, replaced the rear leaf springs because one was broken, threw in some led reverse bulbs, installed some window deflectors, and added some Yokohama Geolander 275/55r20 tires to get things started.

Toyota dealer flushed the cooling systems, serviced the tranny, changed the oil, and did an alignment after tires were installed. So much for not making this a money pit like my LC!

Installed the TRD Pro center caps on 3rd gen regular TRD wheels, I like the machined face. Also installed the TRD rear sway bar kit and WOW I love it! Took advantage of the 40% off sale to get these wants and don't regret it.

Alright, I’m back, didn’t like the small flags and bought larger ones. This time put them above the logo and am much happier. Thoughts ?

    Very interesting.

I'm very intrigued by the SAE 6 Spot Terminals by GP. They just look so clean and I think it would be a great upgrade.

I noticed they are made of aluminum.

Is aluminum a good conductor of electricity?

Would it be better if they were made of some sort of steel?

Believe all metals conduct electricity, Aluminium, fine conductor, not the best but will work fine.

I cannot find them anywhere, even on their website for the 2nd gen Tundra. I really like the "carpet" ones. They match my grey interior almost perfectly. Got the full front/back set for $40! I guess there is a benefit to closeouts.
