    I cant seem to find the thread. But I remember seeing someone post a rear seat cover that looked similar to weathertech but way less expensive. It was one that covered the rear seat and draped down the front and sides a little. Kid feet seem to hit exactly where the upholstery is in the back. I remember the OP was able to cut holes in the covers for the car seat latches. Anyone help me find that thread? It was like one giant cover that did the entire back seat.

    How was the fit in this? That’s what I’m worried about is it being too short to cover the entire bench

    @Wldkatz03 it's a perfect fit...I use it when we go to the beach, and the boys are wet and full of sand, does the job just fine..

    Thanks! I’ll try this out. Can’t go wrong with Amazon prime! I’ll be putting my twins and their little sister on this with their car seats. Gotta protect that 1794 interior!! :fingerscrossed:

    Do you have any pics installed?

    I think it looks perfect. Zip down center is key. Also looks like room the kid seat latches.

    My truck is still at the dealership for the latest recall. I'll post a pic for you tomorrow. But yes access to the middle seat belt and you can latch a car seat in it.

    I have the Coverking neoprene covers. They are a pain to take off but they resist spills of all kinds and the dirt and sand just rolls off of them. They look good as well

    Those have the potential to damage the metal spines that plug your headrest into the seats. Prolly depends on the weight of dog(s) but previous owner had this and two large dogs and now the front head rests, both passenger and driver don’t really lock where they should in mine...

    I like the hammock idea to keep the dog in the back seat, but the whole point is to prevent damage. What's the best option here

    Can't say I think there is a strong potential for damage as I have used this set-up for 4 years without any damage you mentioned. I guess it's possible but not probable in my opinion. Read tons of the reviews of the 2 I've bought with no mention of what you referenced. But I don't use the hammock option so not using the hammock option there is not much risk if any in this regard.

    You’re correct, it’s the hammock option that causes the entire dogs weight to be placed on the front headrests and damage them when the dog(s) go close enough to the front of the truck that their weight is carried mostly by the head rests and not the seats beneath them. Doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to see the potential for that problem.
