Adjustable bilstein with 17in method wheels on 285 70 17 ridge grapplers
Just Installed new wheels and tires on my adjustable bilstein struts. I have them set at the top setting and they ride great. Just wanted to show it off on a 2nd gen.

Honest question about the distinction between a strut and a coil-over shock. What is the difference(s)? Based on your prior post, I assume that the 5100 is a coil over. Asking because I got the front 5100s in the mail yesterday and called a shop to install (I like my fingers too much to even attempt to play with a spring compressor). Shop said that they were struts, and as such, cost more to install than shocks.

Coilovers are.... coilovers....yes they are bit more difficult than installing a shock.

^^^ but they still are not struts. That shop needs educated on the difference. Coilovers are not the same thing as a strut.
