Lower control arm bolts stuck

Hey all,
Im balls deep into getting my 6112 coil overs put in but I cannot for the life of me loosen the lower control arm bolts. My impact gun wont budge them and Ive already broken a breaker bar trying to get it loose. Any tips? Is there any trick to getting the coilovers installed without having to drop the LCA?

 

^^^^^^^^ prob putting the socket on the cam tab and not the nut / bolt.

You have to loosen and tighten both front and rear from the front. If you are cranking on them from the rear they won't move. So back loosen nut, front loosen bolt, easier without skid plate on.

Im about to take my daughter to school and pick up a new breaker bar. just to clarify, I need to loosen the nuts on the inside of the LCA correct?

 

Yep, had the same exact problem. Just have to loosen the insides

 

You have to loosen the front bolts by the bolt(front) not nut.

No, LOL, virtually impossible on your own with a 2.5" coil over. Upper and lower stock control arm bushings are rubber torsion bushings, and need torqued at ride height anyways. There is almost no chance all four lowers get adjusted during alignment(usually backs get maxed, fronts untouched).

Will do. Got my alignment done yesterday afternoon, but looking at the truck head on, it looks like I have some positive camber which makes me wonder if they even did anything. Serves me right going to a place right outside of base. I'm gonna see if I can get someone else to look at it before I head off road.
