Before I spend the $$ on seats/install are there any Katzkin seat dog owners with feedback?

75-80lb German Shepherd would be the pup involved.

    Seats $1399 installed

Another note: $500 for front seats to be heated?? $$$ No way

    Thanks for feedback

I have great danes, so the backseats get folded up. But the few times they've jumped in before I realized the seats were down, they've been fine. The covers have held up to dirt, hair, slobber, and everything in between.

I use one of those plus I built a wall. My backseat driver is learning to stay in back. Lol

That’s a good price for seat covers, heat and install. Local place? I’m up and down I95 (and I10 and I40 lol)

Using vac on stock seats for shedding is brutal. I’m over it

Yep. Still a PITA with the carpet. I have a nylon brush and just sweep it into the shop vac and it works good. Still she’s a good pup so it’s worth it. My German Shepherd died a few years ago and I didn’t think I’d have another dog until she showed up on my doorstep. Since then we have been best buds.

    Thank you. Meet Rosie.

Poor thing was being starved, beaten and kept in crate.

Now: been from Connecticut to California,(both oceans) gained 30lbs, stopped biting me, loves steak. All since August.

Post pic of your pup. That’s like an unspoken rule here no?

You can get basic Katzkins for $550, tools, hog rings, heating kit for another $150. Install is tedious and you want someone experienced so it's on like OEM leather, not like a cover, that makes up the difference in total cost. Requires complete removal of each seat out of the truck, I would say 1.5 to 2h per seat done right. 4-5h if it's a team, definitely not one person.

They're thick and rugged but I'd still use a dog cover.

    This is Nala.
She belong to a neighbor but they said she would not stay in their fence. So every week she would come over and stay. I’d take her home and she would beat me back to the house. I saw her almost get hit by a car and left a note on their door that I would take her since they can’t keep her in. They agreed. She packed on the pounds as well once someone took care of her. Also she won’t step out the fence unless I tell her to ;)

A kennel solves all of this...bout $40-$80 bucks...the money you save can be put toward the Magnussen SuperCharger you really want.

I want to do the katzskins for the same reason.
For a quick clean, I open all the doors and use a leaf blower to get the hair out. You'll have to vacuum eventually but this helps a bunch in my opinion.

I couldn't quite float doing the Katzskins and went with leather Clazzio's all because of I got tired of trying to get the freaking GSD hair out the seat fabric nap. I will admit that I do still use the Kurgo seat cover that I had for the back seat for added protection, but its so nice to just be able quickly wipe off any residual mutt fur.

This is our 7 yr old that we adopted last Spring. She loves to go running on the boardwalk. Problem is she's a whole lot better runner than I am
