That's awesome to hear! I keep mine on city +1. Seems to be a good sweet spot on throttle response.

I’ve left mine on the last few times for both recalls and service.

How much of a difference would this make on the 4.6L? I don’t have a tow/haul either.

It doesn't require tow/haul. It should work well. Also has 30 day return policy if not happy. Wortb a shot.

Cool, thanks fellas. Paint match grill and exhaust are next for me but may have to look into that as well down the road!

From time to time, I will switch of the PC just to show a friends that have Tundras. It is amazing, night and day with it turned on and or off.

Can't imagine going back to before I had the PC.

Sorry if these are dumb questions but is there just one setting or are there multiple settings?

Does this impact gas mileage negatively since it’s altering how the throttle is opening.

If there are multiple “modes” what are they and what the real world application of them.

I guess since it’s Bluetooth I assume you can control with your phone through an app but how often do you have to use that feature?

4 modes: Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ with 9 levels within each mode.

They are kind of self explanatory, Sport modes likely to use more gas.

Many using City for normal daily driving.

There are non BT models. Think most people settle in on one mode and only adjust to have fun.
    Edit 9 levels, not 4.

There are 4 settings and each setting allows you to decrease throttle response from -1 to -4 or increase throttle response from +1 to +4. I've settled on CITY +4 and have seen about a half mile per gallon increase. Once you've settled on a setting you probably won't adjust very often but controlling it thru the app is handy. I have mine stashed away in the center console under the cupholders, completely out of sight and undetectable so the app is convenient if I want to adjust or turn on/off.

Hopefully this will make a difference. I have the 4.6 and when i am getting onto the highway at normal acceleration it feels super sluggish. Of course the truck has plenty of power and if you get on it the truck will move but seems like there is A LOT of pedal travel before that happens.

How is it working out? Worth it? I just got a 3'' lift with 35s and need something to make the sluggish go away. I know this doesnt add power, but might trick me into thinking it does.

It will work just fine for you. It will take a bit to get used to the snapiness depending on the settings. Most of us run City 0 to City +2 range. An install tip for you....the sheet says to take the key FOB out of range for 5 minutes to draw down power. I found that it was easier to take the battery out of it because of the long range that it has.

Stomping down on the pedal DOES NOT change the lag in the throttle body with the stock programming. The attached YouTube video on the Sprint Booster is a good example of how this technology works—the same technology as Pedal Commander.

    https://youtu.be/1XVCYDNcwwY

Don't be conned by hearsay: The Pedal Commander does not generate additional horsepower, or (much) better gas mileage, or a faster quarter mile. But what it does do is eliminate acceleration lag. My Tundra now accelerates more like an electric car—smooth and quicker. Worth the money? It all depends on what you want.

After driving with the PC for four months, last weekend I disconnected it to compare the stock setting. I was amazed at the contrast. The difference was profound! Not for everyone, but if you want to juice up your acceleration with a 10 minute install, this is a legit and simple solution.

Got my pedal commander Saturday. Very quick shipping, bought direct as the Amazon seller wasn't clear on Bluetooth or not.

    It's going back.

I like the City settings more or less. -2 or so seems a good balance. What I don't like, however, is the surging or on/off feeling when cruising on the hwy. I suspect this is a function of barely having the foot on the pedal.
