I am happy with the 8”, it is there when you get on the throttle, but not flow master loud. Then when the RPM’s settle for cruising speed, I can’t even hear it. I have videos of before and after, but can’t get them to upload.

Yo so I got the 8”...was shocked at how it sounded when idling which there is a bit of a deeper roar than stock but not obnoxiously loud at all. As soon as you step on the gas it comes alive for sure which is exactly what I wanted. When driving and you let off the gas it dam near disappears. Never seen an exhaust do this before but I gotta be honest, I absolutely love it! You get those trucks w the duals that when they step on it you can’t help but laugh which I definitely didn’t want to do w this exhaust (I’m 31 and wanted practical). The 8” is honestly perfect if it’s a long term truck in my opinion. Lots of power added and the sound is straight sexy at any speed. But I’m kinda wondering what the 6” sounds like just out of curiosity now. If it sounds as amazing as the 8” but is there all the time I’d maybe think twice but I’m still beyond happy w the 8”.

Also if anyone in Colorado near the front range wants to hear it just let me know id be happy to meet up w them so they can hear the 8”

I did the opposite. I got the 6 and wish I got the 8. Then I bought the 8 and sold the 6. He will trade if you dont like the sound, shipping back isnt cheap though so I sold mine locally. I like the 8 much better

It was a too loud and a little too raspy for me. The 8 is quieter when your at normal speed and throttle and deeper in tone with no raspiness at all.

Yes, on both systems I have it installed. If you're worried about it being too loud at any point when you own it, such as towing or long trips with the family, then get the 8". If you want mean and loud and have zero concern about it ever being too loud then go for the 6.
I would even consider a 10 if I had a longer work commute, spent more time in the truck, or had something to tow.

I maybe only tow maybe twice a year but that’s with a flat bed, so I am hoping that I will like the 6, my wifey actually drives the truck to work ( shorter distance from and to her job). Hope she likes it, lol.

It will probably be just fine. I just didn't like it being so loud, I only had one person ask me why my truck was so loud when driving in it with the 6. So far no one has said a thing with the 8

I went with the budget system. I baby my truck and hardly ever get on it. I wanted to hear the exhaust at idle and during mild driving and I do not tow anything. Hopefully it isn’t obnoxiously loud. Keith explained it isn’t loud enough to bother neighbors. Can’t wait to get it!

Boom! Just got my tracking number for my headers, mid pipes and TRD replacement system. Maybe this next week the installation will be complete, can't wait. I've been sitting on the black tip TRD exhaust tips for like 2 weeks so the whole family wants to hear how the Tundra is going to sound now.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
You know how we say it’s only 15 minutes away but it’s actually an hour drive. Well, same deal here: $100 bucks sounds so much better than $200. We minimize to justify .

Installed yesterday without resonator. I’ll run a couple hundred miles, then install and see which I prefer. So far I love the sound, it’s just what I was looking for

Would love to see a video of the 10” if you get time. I have the 8”, and we installed my brother in law’s 6” Saturday night...

I’m going to get a side by side video to showcase the difference in the 8” and 6”.

I went mild, the regular TRD is too loud on the highway in my opinion (drone).

A better question is, has anyone received a TRD replacement yet? Maybe they are saving them for a batch run at the end...
