Was going to ask this question earlier as well, is the balance payment link from the first round or second round? Happy to pay off my balance if needed

Just received mine. Looks awesome I can’t wait to throw them on. Had a few scuffs and scratches but don’t really care. Thanks @mac11

My phone just stopped charging this afternoon so no pictures to share.

Last of the round 1 sliders (with 1 exception) was shipped today and those individuals should have just received tracking emails.

Round 2 fabrication looks to be wrapped up maybe Monday but probably Tuesday with all the dimple panels involved. Bare steel will start shipping next week and PC'd and linered sliders will head out for coatings.

I've made a few minor modifications to our crates that should add another element of stability. I've wasted a LOT of time on the phone with various individuals at the carriers to get these issues resolved.

It is the same for both. A few people have paid balances for rd 2 so far. Anytime between now and when they are ready to ship is fine.

    Thanks

    Mac

I'm not considering you in a group anymore since yours were shipped out and came back. I'm still waiting on my current batch of items at powder coat to be finished and come back. Your sliders are in that batch and will be turned around ASAP when we get that batch. I'm cautiously optimistic about getting that stuff back this week still, based on their typical turn around time.

Since yours are at powder now they will be shipping ahead of round 2 coated items. I'm not going to hold them back for any reason.

I have no idea what youre looking at. Look at the tracking. Thats all that matters. We wouldn't have shipped your sliders if you weren't paid in full.

Installed my sliders today. Ran into an interesting issue where there are some lines in the way of one of the holes on the passenger side of my 2019 TRD Pro. The backing plate just doesn't fit.

Luckily I happened to have the perfect solution in my junk drawer (from an old lawnmower)

@TundraPro2019 thanks for all the pics! I was on fence about full top plate or two separate top plates, it wasn’t an option at checkout for the deposit anyway, still don’t know but those pulled back views of the full top plate certainly are nice

I just pulled the plastic clip out from the frame, put the backing plate in place at a slight angle, then clipped it back into place, no problem. Wasn't even rubbing against the lines.

Do you feel the truck is a lot slower now with the added weight ? I already feel the weight with steel bumpers and E rated tires

No not really - just give her more THROTTLE!!
But I don’t have any bumpers etc- eventually I will - maybe then will need tuner/horsepower UPGRADES!

Dirty deeds exhaust is next for me

    Good luck

Weird, there was really no space for the backing plate in my truck. Here's the hole without the backing plate. Right next to the clip. Anyways, we both got it to work, so all good :)

Unless I'm not understanding your workaround correctly, I would think there isn't sufficient load distribution with just that shoulder washer - particularly if you put the weight of your truck on the sliders. From the looks of the pictures, it looks like the inner, raised boss that stands the shoulder washer off from the frame would drop right into the frame hole. So again, maybe I'm not understanding it completely.

@mac11 Hey mac, picked up my order from the freight company today, the crate in pretty decent shape. But I think I got someone else's set. Mine was supposed to be a full top plate and I got a set with a split front and rear plate. IMG_5558.jpg IMG_5559.jpg

You were asking about it so you got tagged in the spreadsheet as the one who wanted them different. Looking back more carefully now I see that's not how that went. I apologize for the mixup. I'll get it figured out in the morning. Please do not uncrate them.
