I found a trick to get #12 and #16 to the doors, I slipped it on the side instead of down the center.

Sound proofed back wall, entire floor and doors. I have to admit, I honestly believe the ********* soundproofing is better than dynomat. It was thicker and easier to apply. Plus you get a little more and a roller with razor knife which was cool imo. Two thumbs up *********, I was leary but a solid product. IMG_3868.jpg

curious to hear your thoughts on the dsr-1 once it's installed. opinions vary widely. i put in a jl TwK and FiX instead.

looks like you've got a good start.

I think it was hard for people to understand what I was going to do but this sums it up. It was a very very tight fit but everything is behind the back seat and extremely clean. I am so happy that I went this route. Nothing but smiles. IMG_2594.jpg

I will summarize with this. It took me almost 4 days but this turned out amazing. I wish I could've taken more pictures but it was a brutal timeline with everything going on. I feel anyone has questions I would be more than happy to help. The RF DSR is awesome once you get it figured out. I can dial it in on my phone which is crazy. As an older guy with two kids, the 8" JLs are perfect. If I want it to bump, it can meet my needs. Also, any larger of a sub box and it would not of fit. It cost about 3k but with a $75k truck anything less would have been subpar. Best wishes on all of your builds.

We’re you able to clip the other side back together? I tried this and couldn’t get it to clip back together. So I just scrapped it and tapped into the stock wire.

It was a great addition. Plug and play overall but when it was first installed I had a hard time setting it up but after messing with the setting of it on my phone I got it. Since I installed new dash speakers and ran an amp just for those, it only wanted to run the doors and subs. Once I got it figured out I was able to do everything I wanted with it. Currently my amps are set at about 80% on gain but when I get my truck back I will move it to 100% since I can change them with the DSR. Overall, great product!

That looks amazing bro. I can't believe you were able to fit all that behind the seat. I wish I was there to hear it. Nice work.

It took a little while but it did click. The first couple of times it would pull apart but eventually it held. I was a little worried though. Once I started I couldn't say uncle, knowing I bought all the wire it was hard to give up.

One other thing...I used MDF to mount everything and when I mocked it up the board and box would not all fit with the seat in. I had to cut the shape of the box out of the MDF and then suck the box into the board to just barely clear. Even when I was putting the seat back in the back brackets were up about half an inch and the bolts had to suck it down. It was a little scary because there was no other options.
