Good afternoon Tundra fam. I was looking into getting my crewmax lifted and stopped by a local shop to ask questions. They recommended a Ready Lift 3 front and 2 back kit. Does anybody have experience or have the same kit on their truck? They are claiming the ride will be close if not same as factory. Also do I need to install after market shocks with this kit? Im also looking into getting rims and tires after the lift and looking at a Fuel 20 by 9 with +1mm offset with Toyo open country R/T 275/65/20, 34.1 tall by 11 wide. The measurements were given to me by the shop when I told them the look Im going for which is a slightly aggressive stance with about 1 inch or a little less sticking out past my fender. Any insights and or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We always prefer our customers to get an increase in performance along with the lift they are looking for. We would recommend doing a replacement coilover and upper control arm (this will allow you 3" of lift in the front) and you can either day an add-a-leaf, expansion pack, or block in the back if you are looking to lift the rear. A spacer is simply going to push your suspension down because you are shoving a shock with a spacer on top into a spot that was design for the factory size shock. This is going to give you less down-travel equating into a rougher ride. A bolt-in 2.5" coilover is going to give you a smoother ride and its going to help your ride quality when you move to the 20" rims.
