I said I’d follow up on this deal, so here it is. Mobil 1 just announced their spring rebate promotion and it’s a good one, especially since our iForce motors take 8 quarts.

You can buy a 5 quart jug of 0W20 Mobil 1 oil for $22.99 at Walmart or the reseller of your choice (see rebate details, I called to confirm Walmart is included). You then jump onto the link below and complete the e-rebate form and you will receive a $12 rebate by email. You’ll then print and deposit once they process the rebate. You can submit 4 rebates per household, so I’m loading up with 4 jugs.

Doing the quick math... $22.99 - $12 = $10.99. At $10.99 per 5 quarts, result is $2.19 per quart. Our truck takes 8 quarts. $2.19 x 8 = $17.52 for all 8 quarts. I pay $4 for Toyota OEM oil filters, therefore a complete oil change will cost me $21.52 and the dealer cant screw up my truck. Hope this helps someone!

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up!

Wonder if the deal is retroactive, as I bought 3 big jugs last month?

Interesting that Walmart isn't in their list of participating retailers. Thanks for calling on this.

Also, it looks like EP just went on rollback today, so it's $25.77 (free shipping over $35).

I do this w wry year, Pennzoil also does Thai also.

We drove the following years on vehicles:
    19 Tundra 20,000 Miles
    13 Accord 45,000 Miles
    17 4Runner 20,000 Miles

Between Mobil 1 and Pennzoil you can get close to covering a major portion of your annual maintenance requirements and get top shelf synthetics.

Not saying I have never done it, but technically your aunts and uncles, grandparents can buy 5 gallons also....

Then you are really set for a while for cheaper than off brand non-synthetics.
