anyone here been to WKOR shop in Apple Valley ? thinking of getting their sliders and go pick them up there. I'm by the LBC though so it's kind of a drive.
how about a local group buy with them ? seeing how people get disappointed with freight companies (see P&P sliders group buy), it would be better to just pick up.

Good things have been said about WKOR. I believe a couple of the SoCal guys have them on their truck. I think @Porschetech29 and maybe @osidepunker might have them??

I drove to WKOR based on @Porschetech29 recommendation and I picked up. It’s a bit of a drive for you being in LBC. How much is shipping anyway? If it’s over $200 then I would drive

I picked up my White Knuckle sliders from the shop in AV. Drove up from San Diego. I wanted to see the shop and save $. The shop isn’t much to see but John the owner was a stand up guy. Pretty laid back and very knowledgeable.
I’m very happy with the sliders and have bashed on them without issue.

You’ll be fine on 35s without sliders.

‘Hard’ for our purpose of rating isn’t like the rating you’ll find on TrailDamage or Trails Offroad because they rate trails all the way up to rock crawler status rigs with Exo cages. Some of their hard descriptions say stuff like, “Rocks less than 84" tall and/or vertical ledges less than 72" tall and/or near vertical ledges or waterfalls less than 14' foot.“ there’s nothing that extreme in Sedona. There is stuff like that all over Arizona, but none of us are taking our Tundras there.

The only trail that sliders _might_ come in handy is Smiley Rock. You’ll want to go slow through the rock garden with good spotters.

Here’s @osidepunker running it on 35s a couple years ago.

    NorCal runner @831Tun and
SoCal runners @Porschetech29 and @Marty McFly for hooking me up!
    :fistbump:

A coupla Pelfrey single Jerry can holders made their way to me tonight. Francis, Marty let me know how far out of your way and time you went to get these to him this busy week. I hope to have an opportunity to repay a favour as soon as you think of what I can do to help you out. Thank you! :)

As for @Marty McFly, I repaid him and Mrs. McFly by keeping them out late after a long day out. I feel bad to know you're still driving, but we're very happy to have met little "Maureen". She's a lovely small human-- the best kind of puppy!! :humble:

Yeah I run the white knuckle sliders. They fit well and have a great design. The kick out has saved my rear wheel a couple times. I picked them up. Install was easy, just a little hard to drill through the frame. But all the holes lined up perfectly

make sure you get the .188 DOM outer rail, our trucks are way too heavy for .120
