Ram 1500 vs Tundra ride quality

    So I've had my Tundra Platinum for 6 months now and besides the crap interior the truck is pretty great. I get compliments on the look of the truck all the time which is a cool bonus. My biggest gripe right now is the suspension. I have a Platinum with the stock regular suspension and compared to my 16' Ram, it's not even close. I know it's apples to oranges with the Ram having coil rears but the tundra doesn't hold a candle to that truck. I'm thinking of upgrading to try to get as close as possible to the Ram's ride quality. I don't mind leveling the truck but i'm not interested in lifting at this time. When I get new tires(I just got new KO2s), I will get bigger ones and adjust to a more lifted height. Right now I have my eyes on two different setups:

    1. Radflo/Toytec 2.5 coilovers down to 1" with 5100s in the rear.
    2. Toytec Boss coilovers down to 1" with 5100s in the rear.

    I know the 5100s probably aren't preferable because they are valved differently but I would really like to keep the rear at stock height until bigger tires are purchased.

    I would like a smooth driving experience, in the Ram, potholes up here in the northeast wouldn't even faze the truck while in the Tundra it's a different experience lol. Now don't think I just go pothole hunting but up here in MA, they are unavoidable for the most part. I don't offroad and only drive on the highway once a week. It's mostly roughly paved backroads for daily driving.

    Do you think either one of these setups would fit the bill? Let me know what you guys think.

    Option 1 should be good, I have radflos and they handle terrible roads nicely

    You can take mine out for a drive to feel how the 6112 / 5160s ride compared to stock. Not sure how they feel compared to the Radflo/Toytec or Boss setups, but it will allow you to talk to Toytec and better describe likes/dislikes of different suspensions.

    What's the general consensus on King shocks? I know they are more expensive but from what I've read, going with the coil overs in the front with 600lb springs and their reservoir shocks in the rear would equal plush and controlled ride.

    I have the same issue with the ride on my 2018 Platinum. I made matters worse by putting some 20 inch E-rated tires on it, which is even stiffer. I am also looking to improve the ride at a reasonable cost. I don't need huge reservoirs, this is mainly a daily driver, not a desert racer or rock crawler.

    At first glance the 6112 and 5160 seem like a good option, but I seem to get mixed messages on how they ride, some people describe it is "firm" which is not necessarily what I am going for.
