    Howdy!

I was reading the online TIS shop manual and so happy the TRD skid plate comes with a hatch to change oil. I went to look at mine and it's just a cheap stamped black steel plate with no hatch... Went online and it seems all the TRD skid plates I see are the white ones with the hatch.

I thought those are TRD Pro skid plates....

Or should my brand new 2019 Tundra come with one?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Only the TRD Pro skid comes with a hatch. Unless you go aftermarket. The flimsy stamped black one that you speak of is the stock one.. its pretty much useless. If you don’t want to pay OEM prices, I highly recommend you check out RCI.
