No sliders on my truck yet. I haven't done too much yet anyway; I dumped the 20" wheels it came with for some 18" wheels, got some BFG ATs, brake controller, an Odyssey battery, and just got an ARB air locker installed. Not certain what I want to do with the suspension, bumpers, armor, etc. To think, some Tacoma owners spend over $10,000 to get a supercharger, a Ford 9", and still have a less capable truck.

Might be a stupid question. What is RCSB? Rock Crawling Super Butterfly?

So what is everyone doing for parts? I've noticed things like side steps and exhaust systems don't come in our size.

It's very hard to find parts for rcsb almost anything you put needs to be customized. I had amp research electric steps on my crewmax and i cut them to put them on the rcsb and i bought a magnaflow exhaust (just the muffler) 2 in 1 out and had it cut to fit the rcsb.

I installed a chrome aftermarket grill and headlights from Ebay. Nerf bars, XD 18"x10 rims, three inch lift, an aftermarket exhaust that sounds like the General Lee when I stomp on the gas. Drilled and slotted rotors, aftermarket red calipers.

Here's mine, just lifted it with Bilstein 5100s, that little C-clip holding up the weight of the truck made me uneasy but i've heard it takes a tremendous force to break it so we'll see.

My little 2008 RCSB, I’ve added a power driver seat, updated stereo with nav., runner boards & tonneau cover, spray-in Box liner, tow mirrors, brake controller.
Love this truck but I may go for a new Platinum soon, do I sell this or trade it in?

Yep, sequoia seats bolt right up, then just run a power wire to feed the seat control to the fusebox and ground the black wire and you've got full control of the seat! Heated function will involve more tinkering though.

I would just keep it if it is paid off. I own a 2007 RCSB 2WD Tundra with the TRD supercharger and also the TRD suspension kit. It has been a great truck to me so far but I know 99% of the people out there will not be looking for a RCSB. People "need" four doors these days.

A few people have wanted to buy my truck but don't seem too serious about it when I name a price. In other words, I am not desperate to sell it.

Well it’s now spring here in Canada and to celebrate our wonderful prime minister decided to add a carbon tax to our already stupid high priced gas :crapstorm:
I’ve decided to hold off on a new Tundra for now and think about it for a bit. These gas prices are getting higher and higher every year so i’ve Been looking at ways to increase the mileage of my truck, has anyone looked into these hybrid kits you can attach to any vehicle? There are several ideas out there but I’m not sure if they’re worth the price or hassle

MAH3998, I saw a 2012 RCSB not too far from here go up for sale on Kijiji a few weeks ago with low miles but by the time I got a message through to the guy it was gone. I hear yah about people needing 4 doors these days but there is a market for our unique little trucks ...I just wish they where still available through Toyota :playball:

I have owned Dodge, Ford, Chevy and Nissan. All RCSB. My Tundra outshines them all by a lot!!! I truly feel it's the best truck ever built!
