So I just got my AJT Design key fob housings for my 2018 Tundra. We had just gotten home with the truck and I saw them in the mail. I tore them open and immediately swapped both key housings over to the new case. Awesome looking! Except... now the truck won't start. Flashing security key light when in "ON" on the ignition - turn over, and zippo. I'm assuming that swapping the fob over triggered something with the H key and now the truck doesn't recognize the keys when in the ignition. Ideas or is this a tow into the dealer?

Even if you have the correct transponder coded key, you still have to register the key with your truck. Your old key should still work.

Wow, I've never heard of this happening. I hope it proves to have an easy solution.

Nevermind, just figured it out. I had to transfer the transponder from the other case. On it!

It’s not easy to cut out either! Utility knife was not cutting so I switched to an Xacto knife and it was easy to cut out.

First one sucked, but I got the hang of it. Second one went pretty quick. All swapped over now and working great!
