Gonna get the 6112/5160 setup installed in 2 weeks. Got 1" rear block. I want the truck to have a slight rake with lower front end. Should I do 1.9" or 2.5" with the 6112?
p.s. I also install the GoRhino sport bar over the bed which is pretty heavy, so I believe it will lower the rear a little bit

Do the 2.5. It’s the right thing to do.

What are your current measurements from ground to top of the wheel well?

I’m at 2.5” on 6112 and 1” on 5100s with a shackle in the back (with a DC 6.5’ snugtop camper top) and it’s .25”-.5” raked. Looks level but needs the ruler to reveal the rake.

Imo its the only way to get a finite answer. Tundras seem to vary in rake height and a setup that looks one way on one truck may look different on yours.

As others have proven in the past. The tundra roofline slops down as it goes back just a little. So trucks with a level sit look nose high from a far.

If you want to see some rake, i think you should do the 1.9 setting

I’m at 1.9 setting with 1” shackle in back. I have exactly 1” rake based on measurement

I did 1.9” and nothing in rear. Measuring said it was level, but looked nose high. I added shackles to make it look like it had rake. I wish I would have done 2.5” now though and more lift in rear.

Seems like 1.9"/1" is the best combo for me.

Yeah, from my experience you have to do 1” in the rear for the 1.9” setting.

A few questions would be... what wheels are you using? What size tire are you planning on running? How much will you have to trim depending on previous questions.

Just installed mine yesterday at 1.9 and did nothing out back. I took a quick measurement and it was almost perfectly level, but it did kind of appear nose high. The parking lot itself wasn't exactly level though, so I need to go take some more measurements today.

2.5", 1.5" Fat Bobs Garage Bilstein coil overs. If you go 2.5" you need 1.5" back. I think these trucks need a little rake to not look nose high.

I see. Basically 1.9" front w/ nothing rear pretty much looks like a TRD PRO. I think I will do 1.9"/1" combo in order to keep some rake

Love the look of your rig! I think I will do 1.9" first to see if fits my expectation. Thanks to Bilstein the height is always adjustable so I can change my mind lol

Do 1.9 setting and add a CB shin or two. That way you get a better ride by not maxing out the shock and you still get the 2.5 lift up front. Just my opinion.

WOW this looks exactly like what Im looking for!
Btw the shop I went to recommended 1" rear block instead of shackle. Will such little height of block cause any hurt? I only do slight offroading maybe once every two or three months.

That's what I thought. 1" is such a small lift so the difference should be minimal, especially considering blocks and shackles will eventually "do something" to the springs. Btw cool looking Panda truck!
