Planning to plasti dip the 4x4 and the Platinum badge. When I looked closer at the platinum badge I noticed the bumpy texture on the material between the letters. Has anyone plasti dipped these and/or had issues removing?

    Thanks!

Thanks for that link. I posted incorrectly (and updated original post), I forgot my truck only has the Platinum and 4x4 badge that I would plasti dip. I don’t plan to put the black letting in the Tundra spot.

Bed lined, tinted all 5 windows, hose clamped tailgate, toolbox, steps, ESP rear seat storage bins, dash cam, anytime camera switch, console safe, pop a lock for tailgate and wheels/flares, sway bar. I have Techstream if anyone local needs it.
I plasti-dipped mine. I've had no issues, and it's been on there about 7 months. I run through a touch free car wash at least twice a week. Here is mine:PlatDip.jpg

I rather like the Platnium badge...it isn't chrome or gawdy. The 4x4 and chrome mirror caps have got to go. ..

Not for me. Although the 4x4 on the rear seems just random lol.

I swapped out for color matched mirror caps last week. Once I figured out how to pop them off it was quick and easy. I’ll probably be doing color match handles too ... I’m not a fan of the chrome. I’ll plasti dip once I get the new wheels/tires on.

Yup. I am removing the 4x4 for sure, and most likely the platinum badge. I remove it because i like it that way for detailing. Makes it easier and cleaner. But i totally get it that some people want to leave the badge on.

I did mirror caps, badges, emblems and door trim on my last truck...I wont plasti dip anything bigger then the 4x4 emblem again. Hard to remove, and will degrade and leave streaks if you park in the weather year around (like those black streaks on the sides of campers).
