It would be one of those rock hard peanuts that slices your butthole on the way out, leaving a salty trail...

Rewind on the radio. Remote start. Make the cavernous back seat in the crew max usable by adding storage. Move garage door button from mirror. Add a 110 outlet somewhere.

All of these things were standard on my 2015 Sierra SLE (not fancy trim level- extremely comparable to SR5).

And with a radio antennae comparable in height to the CN tower in Toronto, we get stellar reception, as well!

Grey Wolf gave me an idea(never said it was good). Listen up Toyota. Tread mill style cargo system in the bed. Load cargo in the back, then watch the truck self-slide/pull it forward to a secure position, like a conveyor belt at the grocery store checkout. No more shoving and pulling loads in and out of the bed. Who needs a bumper step when the load comes to you?

It is supposed to be the best truck, yes? What do Teslas go for(mid-size SUV 150k)? Get with the times, bro! This will be a 250k Truck(don't ask what the new land cruiser will cost).750k homes and 150k cars are the new normal. Also, with this new cost revelation, I recant my prior statement. We will all get Double what we paid for our Tundras, as long as we add wheel spacers and a lift kit, nerf bars, and put 150,000 miles on them!

    Addressing these issues...

    2. Higher payload. - That would require an entirely new drivetrain and suspension. If you want something higher, get a diesel.

    4. Winch mounts. Why would Toyota pay to have something made for a truck that less than 10% of their buyers would ever use? Makes no sense for them. Let the aftermarket companies deal with it.

    6. Single cab. Single cab trucks don't sell. Why would Toyota waste the time and manufacturing resources on a truck that would sell for about $2k less than a double or crew max cab.

    9. Seating in the bed. Seriously? Get a Sequioa. Beds are for cargo not people.

Useful storage behind the seats of a CM model. I won't buy another Tundra without it. Too darn much wasted space in the cab.
Minimum 6' bed on CrewMax, 6.5 would be good.
    Keep 38gal gas tank.
    Better crash test ratings
Factory roof rack and bars on the cab (all models)
Get rid of all the interior chrome. Damn crap blinds when the sun reflects off of it.
    Factory spray on bed liner

I’d like a “throwback” model that takes out the interior tech and non-DOT mandated safety extras. Also, I want manual 4x4 engagement (no button) with manual hubs. Basically, a stripped down vehicle...including the manual transmission into the lineup.

I don't believe it is true factory installed/sprayed on - at least according to my salesman and information. (Not that I am an expert here.)

Every Toyota in the Southeast (my region of the country) goes through one of 2 'ports' - one outside Birmingham Alabama, the other outside of Atlanta. One family owns both. The ports can and do add additional options. This is where the 'factory' spray on bedliner is done from my understanding of it.

One of the problems Toyota has apparently is weight of the Tundra - keeping the weight down to keep it in the class of vehicles it is in now. Add too many factory or port installed options - it can change the class of vehicle.
At least that is my understanding of it, and why you see some Tundras with a 'factory' sprayed in liner (done at the port), and some without it.

Maybe, Mine was on the window sticker for $579 and I bought mine in PA. Maybe some ports add a spray on liner and some trucks get it from the factory.
