I thought you were going to say that you were switching to a fuel cell. When you ordered your bedsides did you by any chance ask how much the carbon fiber version was?

I still need to figure out how to attach the RTT with LT no cage and glass bedsides.

Carbon fiber is 3x, so about $
Yeah, me too. I'm thinking, half baked at this point, perhaps a removable brace or two from side to side?
    1,650 for bedsides.

I'm not buying bedsides for that much. That's what Fiberwerx told me carbon fiber bedsides cost.

Craig I don't understand why you think this is so difficult to figure out. You just build a traditional overland rack out of tube and attach to your frame. run the tube as close to the side of the bed as possible to save your bed space. Cut holes in you bed for the tube or if you don't want holes then do bolt on pads on the floor of the bed. The whole thing should be $1k-1.5k

Cause I don't want to drive around with a full rack on my truck. Still need to be able to use the bed like a truck. Kind of hard to carry a fridge, bed or haul things. If it was a dedicated trail rig it would be easy.

you know, 6' trailers are cheap. and you have enough yard to store one. Why don't you just get one of those for hauling stuff??

A little increase in droop with the LT front. Missing the mirror cap thanks to a Joshua tree.IMG_20190316_153755631.jpg
