shocks off ebay?

    Anyone ever buy new fox shocks off ebay? Found some good prices on ebay for some 2.5s and i always get leery about buying on ebay, especially big items. But the seller has great feedback and I called the number and he answered right away and seemed legit...just a small time guy running an online motor parts warehouse.

    Anyone else order fox off ebay without problems? Is there anyway to check authenticity of the product (serial number or something)?

    Assuming they are an authorized dealer for said company I would expect a warranty. If it's Joe Schmo selling the shocks he didn't end up using then I would agree.

    Also, if something goes wrong on eBay they generally side with the buyer. I've bought on eBay for many years and only got screwed by the seller one time. eBay took my side and gave me a refund.

    I just dont have much confidence in Ebay. Stopped buying from them a while ago though. Amazon or trusted company for me.
    My choice has been Toytec for all my suspension needs. Very helpful that they are local to me.

    I just bought a set of oem for my wife's 2012 Sequoia off ebay. Arrived yesterday and are brand new. The price was the same amount other places are asking for just one. I just sent the seller a message beforehand asking a couple detailed questions just to see how/if he would respond and he did so felt pretty comfortable.
