Has anyone dipped the rear door handle on a Double Cab?

    Just do it. It's like $7 a can and if you don't like it, peel it off. That's what I do if I'm curious about something. It won't hurt the paint any. I bet it would look good if the fronts are black.

    Yeah, the fronts are black so I think it will look good. I was also curious about the shape of the handle and how the dip would hold up with use.

    I did bumpers and grill on my last truck. Apply enough layers and you'll be fine.

    My badges are doing great with 7-8 coats, except for the one that I dripped Goo Gone, which turns plastidip into plastidisappear

    You need several layers for it to last. Even at that plastidip does not last and if you wait to long to remove and reapply it's a pain to remove. The sun does damage it and it will look rough after awhile. I have done this with my 2013 and will never do plastidip again. With the handle being a moving part there will be friction and it will peel eventually.
