I can’t help but nice that my front blinker bulbs seem very dim. Actually kind of hard to see during the day.

What’s the most cost effective fix for this?

LED bulbs are brighter but don’t I need some kind of harness/resistor to keep the correct pace for blinking?

If changing the rears to LED then yes it will hyperflash, brake lights no problem, but the rear blinkers will hyperflash

VLed makes them with internal resistor to alleviate hyper flash, but pricey.

I installed Lasfit LED bulbs today that I bought from a forum member. He bought them on Amazon I believe. No hyperflashing and they are way brighter than stock bulbs. Pretty easy to install too, took me 5 minutes.

I have a 2020 plat CM. Ordered the LASFIT front turn signal bulbs which are supposed to be "error-free," but they are not. They weren't a whole lot brighter and they instantly hype-flashed.

The problem with the dim blinkers is that only the dim wire is juicing the bulb. The OEM amber bulb has two elements, but only the dim element will light with the flasher or turn signal. The high wattage wire is absent. Seems like this may end up a recall issue.

Anyone else have any success with a 2019 or 2020 LED replacement w/o having to install a separate load resistor?

I can CONFIRM that these (in the link) will work w/o adding a resistor(s). Directly plug them into the socket after removing the stock amber bulbs. No hyper-flash. Polarity irrelevant. At least three times as bright as the stock bulbs. Highly recommended.

My Tundra is a 2020 Platinum, so they should also work fine with the 2019 as well. $17.99 on Amazon. Highly recommended.

Word. I've seen on here where they work well for your model year and older. Couldn't find any sure info on mine and I was skeptical at first b/c I purchased the LASFIT and they created hyper-flash. Good luck

I noticed not long ago that because the blinkers are also DRL, the yellow coating had partially melted off of the bulb.
One of my headlight assemblies is newer than the other so the bulbs in that side were also newer. This caused the blinker bulb on the older side to appear less bright. $3 fix. :notsure:

Well, I have the identical headlight/DRL setup you have (LED headlights) so I am pretty sure these will be plug and play.

    We'll see.

Just installed my set (boy, they got here quick). Amazing difference, very bright. They work perfectly! I had to loosen the battery on the driver's side and shift it over to get that bulb out, but overall eezee peezee.

I too had the dim turn signal in the front and realized that nothing with these trucks are cheap. I went with the "VLED" with the plug and fit resistors. Been doubt free for almost 2 years. Can see the blink over the LEDS in the front. Feel that others can see as well. Well worth the investment.

JDM works great. Installed in my 18 and made a world of difference in brightness.
