Not too bad. Fishing the line through the tailgate was meh. Running it along the passenger frame easy. Getting it into the firewall grommet was meh. Wiring was backwards from the instructions, but it was about an hour or so of my time.

The wiring to save you some time. Just make sure to test with the fob that they aren't reversed. Blue & WhiteIMG_20190313_165139.jpg

android auto doesn't work with newer galaxy phones so i loaded weblink, which requires your phone be plugged into one of the two usb cables that you have to route from behind theunit either thru or under the dash and only uses waze for navigation, which locked up solid the first time i went to use it. the music print is stupid small, puts songs on the wrong album sections and every time you go back out of an album you're at the beginning of the list trying to scroll your way back to where you were. supposedly it will bluetooth, but i haven't figured out how to get my music to stream on bluetooth yet. phone was easy.

I put in the kenwood ddx374bt. It doesn't have navigation but I wired up a license plate back up camera and I have a S9 plus. It will bluetooth fine with it and play all my music on Google play. Also I can use OK Google to control it thru the small microphone plugged into the back of the unit. I mount my phone right next to it with a magnet mount and can use Google maps. Pretty easy. One thing I've noticed is whenever my gf iPhone is in there it disconnects from my s9 plus and automatically connects to hers as priority or something. Pretty satisfied with it tho.

Decided to remove the dingy pillar wraps. I have a little more adhesive clean up to do, but overall I think I like it. If I end not, I can always put a black vinyl wrap back in place of the stock stuff.

I like it. I have thought about doing that also, but didn't have the guts to do it. Thanks for showing us what it looks like.
Like you said, you can always add black back if you get tired of it.

Sure thing. Happy to be the test dummy. Note of how I found best to do it. Wife's hair dryer on the hottest setting, start from the top corner closest to the window and peel across working small pulls each time. By the last 2, I got nearly the full piece at once. Heat a little bit ahead of where I had peeled, then, pull, then heat a little more, etc. I cut along the edge of the door so the part that wrapped behind the door wouldn't cause the main piece to tear. Then just came back and peeled it separately.

Thanks for the info, now I need to get the guts to go for it.
I just ordered a Rock Warrior grill - I am going to have it painted to match my truck. Then mirror caps and door handles.
Then maybe pulling the black off will pull everything together?
