Anyone looking at buying one of these rigs priced them out yet? I just left my local dealership with a price of $45k with no accessories. MSRP is about $2k more. I've never dealt with a Toyota dealership before and have been told they don't wiggle much from MSRP. What does the hive say?

Yes I agree. Very little wiggle room compared to a domestic manufacture. Shop just one of the big three and you will see how much money a domestic manufacture will take off of MSRP compared to a Toyota with similar features.

Agreed, we have several different supplier discounts at work and you can easily take $8-10k of the msrp from a gm product. Thanks for the reply

I priced a double cab on NADA. MSRP was $45.2 and invoice about $41.7. I added minimal port options. I would go for invoice or a little more. I got 10% off MSRP on my Tacoma Baja.

I checked Edmunds and KBB pricing. Average prices are generally around $2k off MSRP and a good price is $3k or a little more off

I have 3 trucks sold out from under me in the past week. Most dealers I have spoken with are $2000 off. A couple were msrp and wouldn't come off a dime and another was $2000 over msrp.

Does anyone know why the MSRP dropped on the 2017 from 2016?

Unfortunately looking at the list prices I paid over MSRP for a CM they bent me over lol
The dealership knows thay can move the Trd pros so they offer zero wiggle room, no incentives, From what I hear there are only approx 3000 Pros made in a model year.

The problem is these pros are very popular. It sounds like things are getting somewhat better. They used to sell these above MSRP. I would love to get a Pro. But I want the Inferno Pro back.

Funny, Toyota website shows double cab short and long and crewmax and double MSRP is lower.

That's strange. Toyota website lets me choose either CM or DC.

maybe. that would be stupid as hell. then again i've had the toyota.com site be accurate and dealerships get incorrect info. i had a dealer have information about the new 2017 tacoma's with the wrong final gear rear diff ratio.

at one time you could not do a build in GST region. All you could do was view current inventory. Talk about stupid. I would enter a zip code for Mn if I wanted to do a build.

I found a couple on lots but they were high. I had one dealer that wouldn't take anything off the trd but was giving $1500 more than anybody on trade. Had one dealer that was over msrp on trd but the dealer I went with gave me $1750 off. I did put a $500 deposit because it was at port and I wanted my name on it when it came in. My advice even if your negotiating on the truck to put a deposit on it. I lost 4 other trd while negotiating on price with dealers.

I hear that availability is an issue with these trucks but I did a search yesterday on my zip code and it showed 26. Only one was a DC. Almost all had steps which seem to be real popular with dealers around here. I think it is the 2x mark up. Also there were 2 2016s.

In Phoenix, they are going for $5000 over sticker!

    Cement color is sick!

Looking to trade in my T4R, how does everyone like their TRD Pro? Drawbacks?

Man I love my cement but I don't know I would pay $5000 over. I got mine like $2000 under msrp.
