Question: Does anyone know the largest engine I can put in a 2005 Tundra?

4.7L unless you have a dumptruck full of cash. Then you can put whatever size you want.

If you really want to go big, then just put an LS and trans in . You'll have to do a stand alone ecu, but depending on the LS you choose, new or used and how much power, you can probably get the whole thing done for under 20k.

If you don't have 20k then put a rebuilt stock motor in. Much cheaper. But you asked how big haha you can put as much horsepower in there as your frame and wallet can handle

haha it wouldn't take a dump truck. Just maybe 15-20k

You are better off buying & driving a 2nd gen 5.7L Tundra.
