King and ADS

Right now it's popping in the front (Matthew is working w/me on that) and max preload to avoid spring binding. That's one of several things ADS never got back to me about, but it's the only thing that's relevant now.

 

That's why we gonna rob....uh, make bank withdrawals, no cost on you!!!

The truck roof sits right at 7' so I've been told it's a 6" lift...and been told it will shrink some, hopefully not a whole lot cuz I like this height!

 

Why not just keep the Kings in front and add in a secondary hoop w/ ADS Front Bypass shocks. That would out perform 3.0 smooth body by a mile!! Probably about the same price as well.

 

Check your front resi’s and make sure they don’t rub on your fender liner. I had a pop/creek sound and it turned out the resi’s up front were to close to the liner and rubbed.

 

Not it unfortunately. It has something to do with the UCA's themselves. Matthew is going to send some different bushings/hardware to see if that fixes the issue.

I'm with you here. Contacted ADS through email, got an answer 3 weeks later asking for @ for shipping quote..never got a reply back after my second email...
However MCM is usually good at replying back when you contact him.

ADS could take a page from Victory4x4 on customer service imo...

 

If you need to contact ADS, in my experience you're better off calling. Tyler was very helpful over the phone. Found out they also sell boots for the shocks and I added them to the rear bypasses for extra protection.

You can see the wear on the lower eye, shafts nice and happy though

 

I've seen shafts pitted to death because the boot kept the water inside. Even worst if they salt your roads where you live.

Hmm, as long as there are stops to wipe down the truck.

 

Had them on for a year, took them off for revalving- they looked beautiful.

 

It will get very dirty hahaha. Don't think wipes will be helping you though
