Greetings all, long time Toyota/TRD Fan, JGR NASCAR Fan mostly #18, but like to see any Toyota win races. Currently have 07 Camry and 07 4Runner. Really close to pulling the trigger on a 2016 or 2017 Tundra, can hardly wait but I know it's worth the wait.

Been to Wilmington many times, daughter graduated there last year. She worked at Front Street Brewery. Good beers flowing in there

 

I have pretty much made up my mind on what I would like to have; it is a model 8363, SR5 Cargo Max, 4x4 with SR5 upgrade and off road package, I would also like to have spray in bed liner, rail system. I would like to have the Magnetic Grey color or the new cement color (But I think the cement is only on the Pro this year) I would love to have a Pro but it is very $$$$?? I have been told that I might be able to get a 2017 for just about the same price as a 2016? I'm not really worried about what year it is since I plan to keep the truck for ever!!!!!

What I would like to know is what would be a rock bottom price I can expect to pay for what I am asking for? Looking forward to any and all input from the forum. THANKS

 

welcome from Texas. I spent just under $40,000 out the door on my tundra the only thing I don't have is the rail system but that really doesn't bother me to much.

I like what Ron has to say, and am getting more & more determined to buy. I have 2 separate dealers (one in Wilmington & one in Raleigh) looking for the same kind of truck. Any advice from the forum with starting a price war?

Welcome! I also started out driving an 89 Toyota pickup. I miss that old truck. It gave its life protecting me when someone decided to run a stop sign pulling out in front of me. Rolled the poor girl over.

Just returned home from the local dealer........ordered my new truck, should be here the end of next month!!!

2017, Tundra 4x4 Limited CrewMax 5.7L V8 FFV, MGM with Graphite Leather and Off Road package.

Can't wait but at least I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like a kid at Christmas all over again...!

 

Have a Due Date of 28 October!!!!!!

Currently being assembled at the Plant in Texas! I'll approve over time if you can get it here sooner....ha ha ha

Dealer called to say that my truck will be here next weekend on the 9th or 10th, light at the end is getting brighter

 

News Update: While away for a short trip to the Smokey Mountains (Bryson City) Yes, we had a great time and I wish my truck was there too. Anyway the dealer called to say my truck had arrived, but since the storm was coming and the dealership was going to close for a few days and I would not be back for a few more days they put her into the maintenance bays (so I have been told) to protect her from the storm. My dealer did send me a couple of pictures,



Can't wait to get her on the road, very very soon.

 

Question.........Shouldn't there be a 4x4 badge on the tailgate? This is a 2017, Crewmax, Limited 4x4 with TRD package.

Is the badge missing or not?

You're right, while checking other pictures, if the truck is a TRD off road then I don't see a 4x4 badge on the tail gate, wonder why?
