Interesting, I didn't know one has free shipping. But does it include longer ubolts? Progressive refers to the fact that the 3 leafs get progressively longer from the bottom up and naturally compliment the actual leaf pack.

All lug nuts were about 20 feet of each other in the street. All perfectly fine minus some scuffs from probably being ran over by other drivers. I was going 50 mph when it happened. So yeah, lug nuts just backed off. It angers me to try and figure out what happened so I'm just trying to look ahead. New rotors are ordered, a friend has some brand new blue calipers he's selling me and fiberglass will be ordered shortly. I gotta get some paint so I can color match the fenders

I've got the Icon on my truck they made it ride better than stock IMO. Check and make sure both of your bump stops are in decent shape before you start. My drivers side fell apart when I took it off and I didn't have another vehicle to pick up another.

Icon includes the ubolts for sure.

Ordering a set of these. Gonna trailblaze a new item on this site. It was between these and Morimoto. Reason for going with these is great reviews and plug and play. Reason for not doing Morimoto is too much work/cost for the questionable? benefit over these GTR’s $239.

Morimoto would cost about $400 for everything (bulbs, harnesses, projectors, rings, etc.). In the end it comes down to KISS. If you hear screaming at the sky in a few days, then you’ll know its me being disappointed!

I tow and haul to max payload regularly and fail to see the need for an aal. Last load I hauled was a few weeks ago at around 1600lbs. and the frame was an inch off the bump stop.

If you are planning on running continuous heavy loads, then getting a custom leaf pack built seems to be the call. I guess the aal has its virtues in that it can be removed when not needed.

I think most of us are looking for the suspension lift rather than extra weight capacity.

I don't need the extra weight capacity, but I want to get rid of the block lift that's installed on my truck.

Ok. I saw you had a link up above for factory height. The other one looked like a 2” from Atlas. Second time I’ve been linked to their website and everything cost $0. No specs either.

that's because you have to choose the options in order to get your specs.

the AALs I linked offered 1.5"wish of lift.

is there anyone with stock rear bumpstops that would be willing to measure them for me? mine are long gone (bought it that way) and I'm looking for aftermarket alternatives.

    Thanks!

I just went back and the site opened up to what you just said would happen. 2 times prior visits their site was stuck in a 1993 format. No options $0.

Just measured my rear spring bump stop at 2.5” in height. Has the number 10 written on the side.

weird. this is what I see. selecting a lift height gives the base price.

Wheelers also offers these. No idea if the pricing is ok since I haven't looked at factory replacements.

Well. Old column is out. New was almost in. Till I realised the rear bracket is different. Shit. Now to custom fab stuff. Oh well shouldn’t be too bad

it's mostly just any easy way to gain lift and functionality (load handling) on the cheap vs adding a block (no added function just lift) or a leaf pack (expensive AF). Then the progressive flexes better than the single aal which is prone to snapping and moving away from being aligned with the leaf pack. Progressive AALs have alignment thingies that keep em properly aligned almost like they're part of the leaf pack.

Today is DEXIII viscosity test day. Valvoline vs. STP. Both non synthetic.

Then, off to polish the under carriage!

they're crazy expensive though. I don't feel like spending 10% of what I have total into my truck on two hunks of rubber. :/

Talked with HR and the phone rep was super cool. Glad I spoke with him as the SuperNova V.4 does indeed run DTR on the 1st Gen Tundra (even though specs say not less than 8volts). Their tech guy confirmed. This one only has a 2 year warranty vs. the GTR lifetime. The SuperNova has a better beam pattern and newer tech and le$$, too. $179 out the door (no tax/shipping cost). 2-4 week lead time.

Turkey basted the Power Steering and Brake Reservoirs. Couple of observations.

    1) Even though the DOT 3 brake fluid was fairly fresh (5 months old with 6k miles) the pedal was starting to feel soft. New fluid firmed it up right away. Guess I’ll be refreshing every 3 months now.

    2) Noticed some chunks in the DEXIII old PS fluid. Pics are of 2 flushes. 2nd flush got more cack. There is a screen on the bottom of reservior and I really used the suction tip to break the sludge cack.

My Perfectfit SuperNova fogs are outstanding so far with about a month of useage. Plug and play easy direct fitment. Nice even bright white light with side to side fullness.

These ordered headlamps v.4 have a single long diode that better mimicks a halogen coil (not stacked 3 together like many out there). Honestly, it was a tough choice but they were my first choice but saw no DTR capability below 8volts. After talking, guy confirmed they work on the first gen from others feedback and tech guy info. I’ll definitely be reporting on these.
