I’m sorry....I meant to ask you where are the EBay gears made? Lots of auto parts are made by the same manufacturers, but with different name brands.

from my research all US gears (yukon, nitro, g2, etc etc) are either made in china or korea..Korea is known as being the standard and higher quality. I called revolution directly and a human being answered the phone(this alone gives me confidence) and they said they source their gears from s.korea and then do various treatments to them to increase durability before shipping them out. Some people on jeep forums also said that revolution and yukon are the same gears. thats all the info i got

I have the Nitro Gears and they are made I S.Korea as well. That’s why I asked where they were made. Your gears should be just as good as all the other leading brands, in my opinion.

I know for a fact, that a whole lot of reputable companies sell on eBay. So, I would not be too hasty to believe that all the stuff sold on eBay are junk or knockoffs. I wished that I had heard about these gears on eBay before I spent twice as much for my Nitros.

Any update on the revolution gears? Did the install go well and are you happy with them? My shop installs G2 and said you risk noisy gears with cheaper manufacturers

Also curious for an update here. I notice they’re still for sale for the same price.

Looks like it may just be this price because of the mini kit and not a top tier brand?

I purchased the revolution gears with the intention of reusing my OEM bearings that will have around 20,000 on them. With a little patience the bearings should fine to reuse. Most shops you won't find a bettor deal for gears unless your brother owns the shop. As for noise it would most likely come from gears not being set properly.
