Damn I'm jealous you're gonna love this set up and make some serious power for your dollar. You'll want the bullydog tuner, unless you have a tune already lined up with a tuning shop

Boom goes the dynamite! I’ll add y’all to the list. Keith might be hard to get ahold of until Monday. He left today to take his boy to his first race of the season. I think he’s got a busy weekend ahead of him. He said he’ll be caught up by Monday though!

How loud is the budget dumped system during normal driving conditions in cab? Is it likely to piss off my neighbors if I pull into and out of the subdivision “carefully”?

Could the 8” system come with a built in resonator like the budget system and be dumped? I know a lot of questions but I don’t want to regret my decision on which system to buy.

    TEXAS!
i have the EXACT SAME questions.

    want dumped for sure.

would rather have the resonator welded by keith and run tight and parallel to the exhaust. (not bolted on after the fact and out of place, perpendicular to exhaust and behind spare tire.

cam1794, please let me know if you decide to contact keith and get answers.

If its dumped before the axle. Its going to be louder and will drone more. What im going to do is dump it after the axle at the last hanger so you cant see it at all and its as quiet as full tailpipe. And im with you guys the budget vs 6" or 8" differences. I can not choose i mean the budget being 404 with no drone is crazy but i think the budget is more raw sounding. Here's the cut tailpipe from a member.

Those are great questions. Keith should be back Monday and will be able to answer any and all questions.

@Erichudgins didn’t you do a budget dumped? Can you chime in here?

Yeah buddy!! In reference to the dudes post on your other thread, I would do the TRD replacement if you’re thinking about headers. One guy here is doing headers, mid pipes, and the TRD replacement system and is going to have some serious gainzzzzz!

But let me know once you get your setup ordered and I’ll put you on the list. I went with the 8” and love it!

So i will chime in here, if thats ok. 1st off for those asking what Keith can do, he can do anything you want. He can weld the resonators on the exhaust if you are dumping but resonators are NOT AS effective and might result in some drone. Also, yes he can dump an 8 inch system, but it will generally be a little louder in the cab.

I personally think i have one of the loudest setups he makes and i dont think its too obnoxious. Sound is all going to vary based on personal noise levels, and what your preferences are. So asking people how loud they think stuff is, is subject. Some people think a 6 inch is too loud, so im guessing they would think mine is obnoxious. In case you are curious, im running a TRD replacement, w/o mufflers, added resonators and did bolt on dumps. I went bolt on dumps cause if it was too loud i was gonna add the TRD tail pipes. Im extremely happy with mine.

All in all, talk to Keith, make an informed decision, but if you want something a certain way. GET IT! Its your truck and your money. Keep in mind, if you are unhappy Keith will trade out your exhaust, you just cover shipping and cost difference in system, if there is one.

Guys I love my budget dumped. Search on here I actually did a review and video on it. It does have drone.. be aware of that. I drive about 70 miles a day for work and its tolerable. Alot depends on the rpm range. And it is loud.. but not obnoxious. When you get in it tho.. you KNOW it's there. A good rumble at idle... I think this system with resonator would be just right.
