Trying to install bullydog gt tuner but having issues. Was able to download program to computer then hooked it up to truck to set it up. After selecting setup options while hooked up to truck suppose to hook back up to computer then download the programs but I keep getting an error code T362 “server error”. Contacted BD and they’re not sure are looking into it. Just curious has anyone had this issue? If so how did you resolve it. Thanks

I didn’t have any issues when installing mine. I rolled the dice and did it on a weekend and luckily nothing went wrong. Just make sure you plug your truck into a charger while doing it. The first time takes a while. Good luck I hope they sort it out for you.

Yeah I’m thinking it’s on BD server end but waiting to hear back so we’ll see soon. I don’t understand why they cannot come preprogrammed per vehicle. Pay a lot of money and still have to do all the work. So how do you like yours?

I do like mine! But I also hear great things about Dap tune. Although if I did it I would prefer the remote tune so that I could remove it.

I was told by tech support once your tune is set you can unplug it. Does t need to be hooked up to run. Just plug in as needed

I agree with this. I installed mine on a weekend and the little 2gig micro sd card wouldn't read. you may not know this but a 2g micro sd card is apparently a thing of the past lol. cant find them anywhere. contacted bully dog and the sent a new card.....with the tunes already on it...I was like..um okay.... wouldn't that have just been easier to do that from the jump?

more than I can list here
Bullydog (or any other tuner) has to read the tune calibration ID of your ecu in order to know what tube files can go into your ecu. With Toyota changing their calibration ID at least every two years, sometimes every few months, it makes it difficult to send out a tune for every tundra.

They keep the tube files in a library, then send out the appropriate tune to the appropriate vehicle in an effort to keep from having to send out a huge database with each unit.

I prefer the Bullydog to other tuners because they have several option. You can configure your truck to: tow, economy, performance, and you can change the throttle pedal with several options, as well as transmission behavior.

No other tuner for our trucks offers so much. And I can send one for only $380 shipped. It’s easy to remove, but a little bit of a PITA to initially install. That said, I am very good at helping decide which tunes to use for your use of the truck. And bullydog tech support is very good st helping install the tunes.

I’m sure they will resolve your issue. Have patience and stay patient.

Call if i can help. Keith 760-877-4234

You ever seen issues with 3rd gen ffv running rich with BD tune? I’ve been throwing codes all week all of the sudden. Only had tune for a few months

@dirtydeeds Keith I'm in a process of installing my supercharger and it came with bullydog GT. So I follow the instructions and chose Stock for power, Performance for transmission, and Stock for speed limiter as they specifically emphasize on these options. When i finish the installation i decided to make some changes, but can't do that. It just let me choose between stock and tune A ! Do i need to completely Uninstall it first and then reinstall it, so i can choose different setting ? Any help is appreciated ! I have 2017 NON-Flex Pro !
