Today I moved it so I could mow the yard....

Oh and then later I installed my rear sway bar. IMO I don't really notice a difference but it's on there now.

Did you have to make a cutout/mount for the puddle lights? Wish the oem tow mirrors came with the puddles standard.

Today I installed my replacement "drip molding" (rubber molding just above the doors on the roof) after it got ripped off in a car wash. It's held down with a clip that pops in the rubber in front, and a small strip of double sided tape towards the front portion, then slid under the rear cab molding in back. I put some 3M double sided tape between the rest of the molding to help prevent this in the future. I'm not exactly sure how the replacement clip is supposed to be put on, looking at the one that was broken off I assumed it came with double sided tape applied. I pulled the backing off the new one and it wasn't sticky at all, it's some sort of hard plastic/waxy material. I was curious if it's heated up at the factory and put on, I tried heating it briefly with a lighter and it just charred. I put double sided tape on that too... Hopefully it doesn't get ripped off again.

Yes, I had to cut 1.5" holes in the mirrors. I used the VLEDS Universal Puddle lights that are attached via 3M double sided tape. Hardest part was running the wires through the mirror and then into the cab.

Idk what door speakers it has, I’ve never looked. They are clear and crisp with exceptional mid bass, just missing the lower end.

    I have an aftermarket radio...

This sub is perfect for what I wanted. It’s not going to win any competitions, but it adds a lot of bass to complete the sound profile.

I'm guessing maybe u didn't get a chance to really push it much? You should notice, besides it just looking a cool red, what I felt was a huge difference, especially when going pretty fast around hard turns. The truck should feel more planted to the road. U won't get that same body roll u were feeling before. However, if u only got a chance to test it not going fast, in a straight line, on flat level ground, I agree u probably wouldn't be able to tell much of a difference. Honestly, out of all the many mods I've done, and trust me, there's more than just a few, I kinda feel the trd rear sway, or anti sway bar was one of the best bangs for my buck. It don't cost a fortune, it's relatively a pretty easy install, and imo does make a huge difference in the trucks handling. It just feels more planted to the road, like you're glued to it. The only other way I could see not seeing or feeling a big difference is if you didn't get a chance to put on a bunch of miles without it.

I'm not arguing or saying you're lying, just trying to help others decide, and give you some possible reasons, as to why u maybe didn't notice a pretty big difference. Hope with some more driving with it, you get to enjoy it's benefit and get to notice the difference. It sucks spending money and not getting your money's worth out of something.

Yup, your reasoning is spot on. It's also why I haven't done it yet despite me wanting it soooooo bad. I think I've been lied to, or they just lost track of time, or maybe didn't want to admit it took so long, by some without any sewing or crochet experience, saying it only took a hour or two? My OCD would take an already long and painful imo job within that time frame and turn it into something absolutely ridiculous like 14 hrs.

I'm pretty good at recognizing my limitations. I'm just not built for that. Unfortunately, patience is just not something I was blessed with, it has never been 1 of my virtues. Despite my apparent need for a great looking wheel cover like this and it's relatively inexpensive cost, I see myself having to spend a whole lot more money for a replacement wheel in my future.

This is my temp fix for now. Not my favorite interior mod, but it puts a band aid on my cheap ass steering wheel issue.

Mike, your truck didnt come with the leather?? Id rather coin up and buy a leather oem steering wheel then deal with 2-4 hours of sewing. Amazon reviews make it seem like home economics 101

@ARamirez73 I'll do a write up soon, but here is the gist:

    1. Remove mirrors (or in my case I was replacing my regular mirrors)
    2. Drill a 1.5" hole in each mirror.
    3. Install puddle lights and route wires through mirrors.
    4. Install mirrors.
    5. Route wires into cab.
    6. Tap into cargo light circuit.

Nope didnt come with leather. The trd pros come with that cheap rubber that wears quickly. I've looked for steer wheels online but I only ever find the expensive ones.
