The front shocks on my 13 CM 4x4 SR5 5.7 are shot and need to be replaced. This is my first modified truck and I learned the pitfalls of a 3/1 spacer kit the hard way.

I had the chance to drive a 16 Pro and loved both the one and off road ride. My use is 95% highway.

Every website I check says the Pro Bilsteins are discontinued and I’m being told that the new Fox’s can only be ordered for a verified 2019 Pro owner.

The Toyota part # doesn’t bring up anything on fox’s website either.

FWIW I had an 08 CM Trd and hated how harsh it was on the highway. Reminded me of my road course car. My 13 SR5 was substantially more comfortable on the highway. The 16 Pro was, IMO even better.

Truck is stock except for some budbuilt skid plates.

I know that everyone’s opinion on a “good ride” is very subjective so I’ve tried to be as descriptive as possible. I need new shocks asap and can’t wait for Toyota to free up their specific Fox shocks to the masses.

I should add, I need 2” over stock in the front to clear my tires. That was another draw for me for the Pro Bilsteins/Fox’s.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

Tell me about it! I just removed my 3/1 lift too. I went with the Bilstein 5100 both front and rear suspension. I set mine at the lowest setting which is .5-.75 inches of lift. Middle setting would be just under 2”. Like 1.75”. You can get a better shock and closer to the 2” you are looking for with Bilstein 6112. Their middle setting gives you 1.9” of lift. I’ve always ordered from 4wheelparts. Usually they have what you order next day. What size tires do you have?

I’m new to this forum so maybe I didn’t search correctly. I tried a marketplace title search for pro, Fox, Bilstein and shocks and didn’t find them. Maybe sold already?

    Just a follow up.

I went to my local dealership here in Hawaii and gave him the VIN for a 2019 tundra pro so he could look up the part numbers for the new Fox shocks.

He told me the price was approx $1200 for all four shocks and front springs. I said that sounded a bit low. I then asked if he could see the manufacturer of the shocks and he said no.

He also said that that I could order the parts but once they arrived there was no chance of refund if they weren’t want I wanted.

I’m guessing they’re normal TRD shocks.

He also said he’s never heard of Fox brand shocks so that really worried me!

Does anyone have the exact part #’s for this setup?

Just go aftermarket. No good reason to buy mods from a dealer unless you were trying to roll it into your vehicle loan.

I have the toytec/radflo kit and it's extremely comfortable on good and bad roads

Part# for the new Pro Suspension:
    PTR61-34190
Once it is released to the masses, it should be sold in a kit. Until then, it’s only sold in pieces as replacement parts (4 total). Left front, Right front, rears (pair), and the speed sensor bracket. Good luck with your search. Let me know if you find any..

    Thanks for the part #!

Just called my dealership and they said they can have it here in 3-4 weeks. I guess they’re selling it as a whole kit. I didn’t ask about a speed sensor bracket, I didn’t know I would need any. Do you know the part# for that?

    $3015 including taxes.

    Thanks for the info!!

Interesting... everywhere I call says they are still on MAC release and that documentation is required for replacement / service parts.
Did you end up ordering it? What dealer?
I’ve been impatiently waiting since the pro was released haha.

If your dealer sells it as a kit, the speed sensor bracket will be included. If not, the pieces all share a common part number and just have initials at the end to represent the part.

    PTR61-34190-LF (Left Front)
    PTR61-34190-RF (Right Front)
    PTR61-34190-RR (Rears)
    PTR61-34190-SP (Speed sensor bracket)

Also, just curious, was that quote for just the parts or installation included?

I don’t know what MAC release is but I gave them the part #
Ptr61-34190 and they said said it was the Fox suspension kit and they could order it for me.

I can’t officially order it until Monday (Hawaii time) until I show up in person and give them my payment info.

That quote was for parts only.

To each their own but for that kind of money, I would get the King 2.5 resi's. They will cost ~$500 less and will be a better overall suspension.

I got all 4 king shocks without the clickers for $2100, been abused fast in the desert no problems over 30k miles on them. Fully rebuildable, plush ride on the street and comfortable mobbing the desert. Fox (regular 2.5 not the pro ones), ADS, Icon, Elka are also good choices. Don’t go for the “pro” name, it doesn’t do anything for you unless you really have that kind of money and really want it. There’s cheaper and better options.

Thanks for all the input guys but when it comes to suspension stuff I’ve learned to buy what I’ve tried.

I’ve bought high end suspension parts before based on popularity and ended up losing money selling them then re buying something else.

I’m sure there are plenty of other great and/or better options out there, but I’ve ridden in Pro and loved it.

I don’t like paying oem prices anymore than anyone else but this is the only option I’ve had a chance to try out in person.

If you have driven the pro before then you like the Bilstein shocks and coilovers they use. Go Bilstein 5100 or 6112 then. Improvement over the oem Bilsteins on the pro’s before this year.

I don’t think the 5100s or 6112s would compare to the pro set up... cheaper, yes.

OK but by that same logic, you are about to buy a suspension that you haven't tried. a 2016 Pro uses Blisten components but you are getting ready to buy the Fox made version. They are probably very similar but they are not the same. Just an FYI

3k for trd pro suspension is going to leave you sadly disappointed. Some 2.5’s from any major brand will be so much nicer

I know they don’t compare to the new. OP is saying he drove the older version with Bilstein not the new with the fox. Says he wants to stick with what he’s driven. That’s why I said to go with the 6112’s. It’s just doesn’t make sense really. Doesn’t want something he hasn’t tried. Well he hasn’t tried anything Fox but is about to spend a lot of money on that.

Ya after reading all this and seeing the prices not worth it to get the pro suspension bds 4.5 lift with fox coilover is like 3400 i think ill go with that
