If you are in no rush BD mentioned they are bringing out SAE approved fogs in the next couple months I believe. I have the squadron pros in my fogs and they are BRIGHt, haven’t had any issues and I run them daily and live in the city. But some ppl say they are way to bright

Baja also has the BDFORUMS code if you order direct through them. I think it's 10% off.

Yes they are adjustable. The bd floods will be all over the place no matter how u adjust them. I think the combo fl are more manageable . The stock LEDs are no competition for the bd tho

Hardest part is taking off the black plastic splash guard behind the bumper as it breaks so easily

Just noticed that the cjponyparts lists theirs as 2260 Lumens while the ones from BD website lists 3150 Lumens.

I think the cjponyparts are the older version. BD recently updated them with a higher output light.

It's an easy install. Pry out the existing bezel from the front, carefully remove the splash guard inside wheel well, unplug old lights, plug in new, zip tie wires in place and pop Everything back into place.

thanks dmiller. i may wait for the DOT version since the snow season is coming to an end. Do you suspect that the DOT version will have lower Lumens?

They may be slightly lower, but knowing BD, they'll be as bright as possible.

Take a plastic pry tool and lodge it under the tabs on splash guard, you can then slide off one at a time without breaking them
I thought they might be the old version too but mine have the angled bezel where one side sticks out further. I was told the old version had a flat bezel

maybe they are the older version but damn they are ridiculously bright. Part # on my box matches the one on BD website. I dunno...?

My understanding from following BD is that they updated the squadrons sports last fall to increase lumens.

    BD Sport, Amber combo.

Stupid bright!! I run them a lot on the back roads, and get flashed about half the time.

Same here! Although I stopped running my fogs as much and now I feel like I get more people flashing me with just my headlights on than I did when I ran with the BD’s on, weird. Lol.
