    Greetings,
I have used this app for some time and like it. Is it wise to leave the Bluetooth adapter in the OBD port all the time? It draws some power and is warm to the touch even when shutdown, red light stays on.
    Thanks in advance,
    bc

I have left my adapter in many of my cars for a long time with no ill effects. But I also don't let them sit for weeks without driving them either. If it is your daily driver then it should be fine. If you store it for a while then I'd unplug it.

I have left it plugged in in warm weather for short time periods without ill effects. There is some additional draw though, so i wouldn't leave it for long periods, in cold weather, or with a poor battery. I suppose there is a remote chance someone nearby could access the device, not that they could do much to the software.

By the way, anyone know if Torque Pro has been purchased for an android phone, can it be transferred to an iPhone without the need to re-purchase?

The way they do the purchases through the app store and not through their own mechanism I am 99% sure it is not transferable. You could email support and ask them just to be sure though.
