this, hopefully, will allow me to replace the am/fm antenna with a CB antenna. it was originally developed for an 80 so, a little tweaking may be necessary. won’t know until i dig into the fender and see how the factory antenna is mounted.

seriously considering pulling the trigger on a dometic fridge in the next couple of weeks. with the height of the truck, no one in the family but me would be able to get into it with a regular slide. so, i've spent the afternoon hunting around for a drop slide. tembo tusk used to make one but i was having a hard time coming up with anything until i found this...

MSA 4x4 in the great land down under provides. just sent them an email to see if they'll ship to the US. hopefully they will as it looks like a solid piece of hardware.

Haha.... I just got my kids into this. In fact, I wove a shoulder sling for my 22 last night. Used a mix of scrap pieces/colors and a few different weaves, so it came out all FrankenBracelet, but that's exactly how I wanted it.

My favorites are SharkJaw, Cobra and Corkscrew

I expected a higher price than that honestly. Almost 600$ is pretty steep for a fridge though.

...Nope lol. Gotta worry about freight, plus customs, plus fridge? You'd be almost 2000$+ (just looked up price on the fridge. OUCH) just for a convenience factor.

My thoughts on it anyway. Your truck, your vision. It'll look sick either way.

Side note, how you liking your brakes? Wife comes back from her deployment in July and the truck has been sitting...and sitting...and will need new brakes by the time she gets back.

The MSA is now available in the US from Adventure Imports. I believe they are on their website already. Same company that imports Maxtrax.

I looked into this a few weeks ago. I believe they have someone state side. I had gotten an email from msa4x4.usa or something to that effect. I see if I can find it. If I end up not getting a four wheel camper I will need to do the drop down slide as well.

How are you liking these vs the 2.5? I haven’t touched the tear besides the TC/King bump stops and have purposely done so that way I wait it out and get the 3.ooohs.

well, they've been on for 5 days and the truck has been sitting in the driveway for 3 of those... :anonymous:

bump stops still need to go on as well as needing to get new leafs ordered. hopefully the front secondaries will get on in the next couple of weeks.

That’s the best test. It seems the same way for my truck. Got the front set up in and it hasn’t seen the dirt since.

RTT and bed rack came in and it’s still sitting in the garage.

I’ll stay tuned but think I’m gonna saddle up and get the 3.0’s after all.

I like the MSA, but Alu Cab makes a tilting version that seems more accessible for the shorter folken.
