While we're at it, stop with the damn British pronunciation (or other weird pronunciation) of English words as an American citizen.

I have a 25 year old kid that works for me, the most difficult thing for him is using punctuation, "CAPITAL" letters and correct spelling.
When you correct him, his go to reasoning is "That's why I went to Tech School".

If its one thing that will hold him up with me its that.

I'm also noticing with these kids - condescending tones and entitlement issues.

Gotta agree with you @Eclipsed & Floating

Too many people nowadays can’t spell or properly use grammar.

I’ve stopped correcting people, they won’t change, so its a waste of my time. But I DO make fun of them LOL

Many today abbreviate everything. I do it too. I try not to do it with everything but it is easier. So I could see them replacing the word dollars with a $. 100 dollars, 100$. They are just saying it the way it sounds even though it’s wrong. Laugh out loud LOL

I’ve always had a habit of adding the word and. I don’t know where it came from. The “and” gets placed according to if there is change or not. Similar to writing a check.
Two hundred and fifty dollars. Or Two hundred fifty dollars and sixty eight cents.
