I think at this moment im the only one local on 37s on a 3rd gen. alot of it will depend on your wheel offset. I have a zero offset which is kind of a no no anyway on these trucks(im a rebel) and then I had this bright idea to wrap a 37 around them lol. I had to do a very aggressive bmc, and just a little trimming on the pinch. I did have to pull the truck out of factory alignment specs however. worked with the alignment shop to add more caster to get the wheel away from the body. yet that could all be avoided by running a +25 or so offset wheel. as far as regearing, yes its a noticeable difference. when I went to 35s it wasn't so bad but 37s are noticeable. that being said, I don't feel the need to regear just yet. everyone says to go with the 5.29s for 37s...ill probably go 4.88 because if I ever drop back down to a 35 for any reason, I don't want to be geared that high. that's just my 2 cents tho lol

theres a gear conversion chart floating around here somewhere, ill see if I can find it. but I would imagine that 37s with 4.88s would be about the equivalent of 35s on stock gears.

Very informative. Thanks dude. I’m currently running a +30 18x9. If I make the jump I will probably try to find a +20-+30 17” wheel. Do you have a build thread or Instagram page that shows pics of your truck?

    Here is the chart

    Looks like stock 32” & 4.10 is in line with 37” & 4.88

All right TN clan, who has exhausts on their Tundra?

    TRD Pro or Dirty Deeds?

Just curious what ya'll are running?

I will be in Nashville for daughters cheer competition. Next weekend. Might try to see if I can sneak away and see some Tundras at 4wheel parts.

I don’t know if it’ll make any difference to you but I just went with a Magnaflow muffler with duals exiting at 90° and while everyone says you’ll lose torque, I didn’t lose enough to notice it. I love the sound of it though and you can’t even tell it’s there at interstate speeds

@00Tyler10 is running Dirty Deeds and it definitely sounds good too though so he can chime in on that

Any body have those tactile seat back organizers they like? I see some that are not too military like but didn't know if they were worth it or a waste of time.

Also in the next few month I will be looking for a job in the area. Looking for part time or full time. 14 years law enforcement but I am not scared to do anything or too good for any job. You need a shop boy thats 35 years old to clean up thats me haha. But for real any tips or help is always welcome. Would be awesome to get something at 4wheel parts, Lowes, Home Depot. Im down for whatever.

Depends on what sound your looking for. I've got the dirty deeds dual budget dumped. Its loud lol. If you swing by the meet you can heat it. Prob gonna put a couple magnaflow mufflers on it to tone it down some.

Funny you ask I have some in the garage. The ones I have are smittybilt. They are superior quality they are just universal.. and dont fit the tundra seats very well..

I am looking for mild but just a little more oomph when you step on it. We will use this truck to travel, go to Disney, etc.....

I am thinking 10" Dirty Deeds or TRD Pro.

I have had Magnaflow in the past and liked the sound on my Chevy.

Thinking exhaust and looking to upgrade to some TRD Pro time on my silver Platinum.

If you hang anything on them, they lose their 'tactical' advantage pretty quick. Look around for one of the pvc boards that's cnc cut for molle attachment. Then attach it to your favorite tacticool seatcover. That'll give you a much more stable platform for your seatback loadout.

3" Toytec Eibach coilovers with .5" coachbuilder shims and Coachbuilder +3 shackles, JBA Upper Control Arms, Fuel Assault 20x10 -18 offset on 35x12.50 Cooper ST Maxx, Amp research stepbars, JBA Long tube headers, custom mid pipes and TRD Replacement exhaust system by Dirty Deeds, TRD Black Chrome Tailpipes, Bullit liner spray in liner, S&B CAI, Katzkin leather with Degreez heated and cooling system, Husky floorliners, Coachbuilder roof rack with 13 Rigid pods and Switchpro switch, TRD skid plate, Pop-N-Lock, Auto Tailgate down mod, Rattletrap sound deadener in headliner and door panels. Kenwood DDX 9906XR headunit with full Tech 12 volts sound system and dash cam.
TRD is a good exhaust, I just think it’s too quiet. Keith’s TRD replacement system still at least gives you different sound levels. He says that duals are best used for our trucks when you have headers though.

I have a Dirty Deeds 8” if you wanna hear it... I love it! You’re gonna get more oomph out of a Dirty Deeds because our trucks perform better with a single exhaust.
