Earlier this year I decided to start riding motocross again so I needed a truck because I couldn't fit a bike in the Cadillac CTS.
I started searching for a Tundra and June of 2016 I found one at the dealer via their website. When I got there it had already sold but they had this 2015 Tundra TRD Offroad with only 8200 miles on it. It was awesome and a great price so I took it home!!

After a few days I needed to do something to the truck. I removed the TRD sticker and plastidipped the badges and started looking for lift and wheel/tire options.

After researching for about a month I talked to Matt at MCM Fab about a leveling kit. He advised against it and to go the coilover route specifically ADS. I was sold on coilovers but didn't want to spend the money for ADS so I went with Icon because I was set on ONLY adding coilovers and wheels/tires and calling it complete haha yea good luck with that.
Anyways I ordered Icon non resi from @sdhq_offroad and they were at my door in two days. Now I would like to attempt all the work myself but I do not have access to a garage to work in anymore. I contacted 4 wheel parts to do the install and had it in the shop the next weekend. After making that appointment I go ahold of my buddy at Discount tire and ordered Method Grids with 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. He had them in by the next Friday before the suspension install. I really loved the way it turned out but couldn't stop messing with shit. haha

Then driving home one day I was passing a muffler shop and thought this thing needs a little sound. Asked what they had for it and the shop welded in a magnaflow 18". Sounds great to me!20160803_123019.jpg

Now I start looking into UCAs. I researched all of them. Back and forth I went on what I wanted between Icon, Total Chaos and MCM Fab. I ended up going with MCM Fab cause I wanted to give my money to a local dude.

While looking up all this I read about driver side lean. I thought what the eff is that, my shit doesn't lean at all. haha until I measured. 1/2 inch low on the driver side. Well shit. While waiting for the UCAs to get fabbed up I gave Coachbuilder a call and had him send me 3 shims and +1 shackles. A few days later I received his package in the mail, man where those some quality parts!! I wanted to hang the shackles on my wall they looked so bad ass. lol
Finally I get a call the UCAs were done. Had them installed that Friday with the shims and shackles.
The shackles brought the ass end up 3/4 or an inch and the shims brought the front up to a half and inch taller than the rear. Except for the driver's side, still sits 1/2 inch low. Dammit!

@TheBeast I really only wanted to spend about 1500 on the front end then wheels and tires. All I originally planned on doing. Haha

After all this I had this knarly clunk on the driver side front end and it was bugging the hell out of me. Kind of sounded like the axel or the brake calipers which I've heard make some weird noises due to floating pads or something. I went ahead and ordered a diff drop and had it installed by my buddy who owns the Rodshop here in Las Vegas. While we were at it we put one more turn of preload on the driver side coilover. And to my surprise the clunk is gone and the driver side is now only 1/4 lower than the passenger. I am going to let it settle then measure again to see where it's at.

This thing runs and rides great!!!

Next up @sdhq_offroad rock sliders that I will be picking up in a couple weeks down in Arizona. http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/2010tundrarocksliders.aspx

I think I will be done after that for a bit. haha :)

Good looking truck man. I didn't think 295/70s would fit stock rear without trimming. Now I wish I would've went bigger on my tires

Not gonna lie, I'm digging the way the Methods look! May have to consider them over the FN BFD's when I get wheels.
