Lexus have about the best projectors I think. Some Mercedes are good too but I wouldn't put them in a retrofit, rather go Lexus without a doubt.

Logged two long distance fuel tanks. Averaging 17.5mpg on both. Hauling 300lbs. 55-75mph avg. speed. Best mileage in a long time.

Had some mountain time mixed in on both tanks. Rear swaybar held tightly on some of the funner roads.

Truck performed beautifully.

I don't think they have it. I've seen some import cars use Lexus projectors but never looked into where they came from. S2000 projectors are another popular go-to.

4.6 It has PLENTY of power for the Tacoma and you might even get decent mpg...but I'd take the 5.7 too...I'm flexible...

 

My 4runner has 3.0s and those are still awesome. I just hate how sharp and abrupt the step up is on the cutoff. I like the gradual step up on the 5.0.

 

I had a 91 4runner with the 3.0L. Worst vehicle I've ever owned. Toyota screwed the pooch on that engine.

 

All I can focus on is how dirty that dash is...

 

Yeah the cutoff can get bothersome if you stare at it. Almost a motion sickness kind of thing.

 

We are talking about hid projectors. I'd never own a 3.0L
