What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I have not installed any of it yet, but I got a new haul from VLEDS!

and debadged the truck today. Undecided on the TRD sticker on the bed.

I've been slowly installing my VLEDs. Not that any of it is difficult, just haven't had time. Finally got my front footwells installed this afternoon.
Do you already have puddle lights in your mirrors? I've been wanting to add them, but I don't think I have any existing wiring to tap into.

Went camping this weekend, and the Pelfreybilt rear bumper arrived!

 

Just wanted to throw it out there to my tundra fam, im down grading the tundra because id rather get back as much as possible when its time to get either the 2020 or hold out for the 2021 tundra. I currently have a 2014 sr5 and installed the 2019 trd pro , blacked out housing, with led drl. I will be switching them with the halogen trd pro lights that i just ordered. If you are interested in purchasing these message me it will come with the complete harness to make them work for 2014-17 sr5/trd pro/ and limiteds. The harness does have the led drl dim feature. Obviously once out of vehicle i will post them here first with photos of everything. Just letting my family know first.

Took off the topper and debaged the bed. Next is line x and color matched handles. Much cleaner look without the stickers.

 

I’d like those black handles when you get them off. Gotta get rid of the chrome... if you are getting rid of them.

New "carbon fiber" hood guard.

 

Bought a take off set of black door handles and mirror caps off of facebook for 40 dollars. The drivers lock cylinder fought pretty hard but after the screw fell out we saw what was going wrong. Used an awl to line the sucker back up and finish the installation. The passenger mirror cap had some broken tabs and didn't line up very well so I'll have to find another one, but for 40 dollars for everything I couldn't go wrong. Now to talk me neighbors body man into helping me debadge the truck. I think I'm out of favors but never hurts to ask.

 

Love the color, almost bought a lightly used one but decided on a 19 instead.

Need info on the courtesy light [Side Mirrors] install and pics of the light output please. On the fence with doing this one, just waiting on someone to force me to pull the trigger..

Not that my vote counts, but I vote for NO decal, much cleaner with a popping color such as yours. Thanks for the link on the letters, just what I was looking for!

 

So this is the VLEDS puddle lamps, they are crazy bright. It is pitch black dark out in this picture. If you have puddle lamps factory installed this is a no problem mod. If you do not, I can’t help. You will have to cut the hole and run the wiring to the mirror.

 

I do. Same trim as you and yes, those are surely bright. Might have to make that leap! Thanks for the info.

 

It’s crazy easy, pop the factory ones out plug up the wires and stick the VLEDS in DONE!

 

I also got the front half of the floor board lamps in.

 

I'd love to get a set of chrome Tundra letters for the tailgate. My problem is that I'm such a perfectionist, I'd screw up putting one letter on crooked by a half millimeter had it would nag the ever lovin' piss out of me.

 

Not proud, anybody know how to fix it or make it seem less shitty before buying a whole new assembly?

 

There are some that come with a jig and spacers so that it's evenly spaced and square. Check out the video. I don't have the letters but was impressed with this set up.

Got rid of a lot of white. Looks good.

 

I want to take off the bedside decals, but I'm afraid of messing up the paint. I'm skurred.

 

Now he just needs to make the rest of everything white into mgm and he'll make it amazing. I kid I kid. It looks good.

 

Wish mine would be that easy. I'm sitting on the black OEM tail letters and just cant decide if I should do it or not. Debating that and the trd pro bedsides. I kinda like the stamped lettering since u don't really see that on other makes. Funny thing is if they all came with letters filled from factory we would all be pulling them off just to modify it differently lol. Part of me likes the contrast and my other multiple personality likes the stamp. I've also seen couple members here with black/red letters, I kinda like that idea over just black. Decisions decisions?
