    I've got one of those and another publisher's as well. Paper maps are very useful out here; pretty much cover everything, so you don't have to Internet.

    If you’re going to ocotillo wells area also check out truckhaven just west of salton city. About 1/2 hour north of the border patrol checkpoint on 78.
    Primitive camping there too.
