Tundra density

Currently on a trip and am hanging out in Ketchum, Idaho. I know I tend to notice Tundras a little more now that I own one than I used to but the ratio of Tundras here seems noticeably higher than other places I go. Especially for a small town. I'm generally used to seeing a lot of Tacomas but I swear there are more Tundras here than even those trucks. All generations are running around here with all kinds of mods. This pic is from my last trip out here over a year ago but I passed this same truck yesterday.

Anyone else ever go somewhere and think the same thing?

 

I live in NC, everyone around here has Fords and Chevys. I went out west to Oregon a couple years ago, aswell as i lived in AZ about 10 yrs ago. Seems like there are 10x the amount of moded Tundras and Tacomas in the western part of the country versus where i live now.

 

I’m in Concord and I know what you are saying. I googled the population here and 2017 numbers are around 2800 here. There were 3 Tundras in my small hotel parking lot today. They are everywhere out here. The guy I’m flying with is a Chevy guy and even he said wth is it with all the Tundras out here.

I guess this part of the country is smarter than other parts.... lol..

 

Surprisingly, in many small towns in the deep south "MS, AL, LA" many farmers and older people love the smaller Toyota trucks. Rust is the only thing that kills them, and we dont get the snow and salt down here. Old Man Mackey has been using his 84 Toyota since new around the farm...he may have $4million cash in savings and a brand new F350 for Bingo Night, but you would never know it.

 

Anchorage....big time Tundra town. Same with Tacos

 

Thinking about moving down there in about 3 years.

 

I see as many Tundras as Chevy around Houston. Way more Fords and Rams though.

Lots of Tundras here. Lots of Tacomas and older toyota pickups too.

 

It’s exploding in this area. I moved away in 04 and back in 17. Lots of neighborhoods have gone in along with businesses but little in the way of new roads or expansion of the existing ones. I have family here which is one of the main reasons I came back.

 

Lots of fords and chevys here. The Ram numbers are increasing big time though. Not that many Tundras around compared to the “big three” and Titans are extremely rare.

 

I'm in East TN. I'm amazed by how many first gens are still on the road around here. I notice those more since I drive one.

 

A decent amount on Long Island,NY. But I definitely notice a ton of toyos in and around Knoxville when visiting.....
