Hey team I hope all as well :)
the Mrs is looking at seat covers for the tundra

I wanted to get the clazzio leathers but shes super against it as for her its a work truck and leather looks silly in a work truck (her words) and shes a horse vet and it going to be dirty and have tools ect in the truck that could rip leather. and she likes rugged truck ect i guess.

    She wants to get these

    https://www.covercraft.net/carhartt...ntent-20180123-allvisitors-Category_SeatCover

    in the gravel color

as she likes the brand and wears there stuff when shes out working or riding ect.

I dont like the lose look of them. the look that they are obviously seat covers.

I like seat covers that look like factory seats

any ones out there you know off that look factory but are rugged ect

The Carhartt heavy duty duck canvas carseats in tan and grey are tough looking but are a bit loose fitting. No doubt very durable being made of duck canvas. I'm considering the grey set to replace my current GT Covers from AutoAnything.com.

I got ordered seat covers specific for vehicle (I think seat cover unlimited maybe?) They were two tone canvas I believe... Very good protection/look in my opinion. They also fit snug on the seat. I'll try to attach photo. I've had them for 2.5 years. When I took them off my '14 tundra (before putting them on my new Tundra) the seats looked like no one ever sat on them, and I'm a coffee junkee among other beverages.

This is what I bought to preserve my new truck seats: https://realtruck.com/p/coverking-neoprene-seat-covers/

Excellent like stock fit, waterproof, breath easy, little odor for a bit, but I love them.

Tell your Vet wife those Carhartt seat covers will look like feed bags pulled over her seats. :D

You'll have to let us know how neoprene holds up. I'd imagine it would fit as tight as volleyball britches, but I'd be concerned with the wear compared to canvas. I've snagged my CRKT clip a crap ton of times on seat cover and both knife and cover have held up. I'm not saying they may not be tough, I just genuinely don't know.

Also he's right about those carharts... My buddy's got them on his Ram2500. They're not real polished covers, but it is a truck so it doesn't look terrible to me as you're not putting them on a beemer.

x2 on the CoverKings. I got a set a few weeks ago. They are surprisingly nice for the price point. I got from Costco. I think they were $279 for the set for my CrewMax.

The slight wrinkles went away after about a week. Those pics were taken a few minutes after the install.

HaHaHa...Yeah, I may not be the best test candidate for durabilty (but they do fit good)...I've got like 3000 miles on a 2017. But, trust me, if they start unraveling under my easy treatment, I'll scream it from the rooftops. :angrygirl:

Canvas is pretty tough. I've looked at quite a few installs of the Carhartts. They can be tightened up a bit more but you need to hit HD or ACE and get some small hook bungies.

Sorry to bring this thread alive again. I have the carhartt seat covers. For some reason I can't figure out where the back seat cover loops go to secure it. Does anyone have the carhartt that could help me out?
