In reference to those videos, make sure you’re listening with headphones or through your truck speakers. If you’re listening through your phone speakers, it doesn’t do the exhaust justice.

And wow, watching a few of those made the 8” sound kind of like a wimp, and I think my 8” has a great deep tone with plenty of noise!

I asked Keith this when I purchased my 8" system as the headers are on the list for the future. I believe** what he told me was the single pipe provided the best performance for the truck stock no headers, the duel pipe setup actually loses some power vs the single pipe unless you add the headers then you get the most performance from the truck. Adding the headers with the single pipe is still real good for hp gains but not quite as much as with the duel exaust. @dirtydeeds like this if I got it correct...lord I bet you are busy now...

Ok guys. I just finished reading the entire thread and my head is spinning. I have a 2019 1794 with the TRD Off Road option but single exhaust. I do not ever plan to add headers. I tow a 8,000 pound toy hauler from San Diego to the dunes and river and back which is a 6% grade each way. From what I read, staying with a single exhaust is my best bet for torque and towing. I do want some more throat but not so much while towing that I cannot hear the music. If if Keith reads this, what would the recommendation be? Thanks

If your towing i think he would recommend the 8in standard system.

Give Keith at @dirtydeeds at call. He's very helpful and walked me through about the same situation as yours. I didn't want it too loud while towing on the interstate and decided on the 10".

Thanks hooter. Did you buy the 10” system and do you tow? How is it compared to stock and to TRD Pro duals, if you know? Thanks!

Definitely go with the 10" single maybe even a 12" if he will include it for you in the group buy. 8" will be too loud towing and duals will rob torque for sure

I do not have 1st hand experience on this but I think the 10" sounds similar to the trd duals when you get on the gas, except there is no drone because of the resonator, and you should gain torque rather than lose it with a single compared to dual. Also when cruising at normal highway rpm it will be quiet almost like your stock exhaust

Yup, I definitely recommend the 10”. The good news is that Keith is the expert, and when you call him to tell him what you’re looking for, he’ll point you in the right direction.

I tow a 5500 lb travel trailer in the north Georgia mountains and around the SE. Keith recommended and I ordered the 10" system. You'll gain a little torque over stock with the standard system. You would lose some torque with TRD Pro duals and I didn't want to lose any torque.

I had that conversation with him because I was leaning toward the 10inch. He said if you tow, the 10 is the better choice. Still good for you to talk with him to feel confident. He will steer you right.
The performance is similar for all of them. I tow, but not heavy and long enough to warrant the 10.
He assured me they all will get the the great deep badass sound when you want it.

Thanks everyone. I will call him and maybe even visit as we are only 30 minutes apart but i am leaning towards the single 10” unpainted, if he will do that. I still like the look of stainless & chrome as I am somewhat of a relic.

I just finished installing my 8 inch with the resonator. Man, I love it. Don’t pass up this group buy. Super simple to install. And I know I am just saying what everyone else has, but it really is quiet when cruising. And just the perfect amount of balls when you get on it. I am not at all disappointed. If you don’t buy one you will regret it, and your truck will sound like puppy farts.

Lol, no truer words have been spoken. I still haven’t put my resonator on, but the drone gets a little overwhelming when you spend a long time on the highway... so I plan to install mine soon. Thanks for the review!
