Use the two supplied crossovers for each tweeter. On the crossover box there's an arrow. Arrow side connects to the tweeters with red to red and black to black. On the other end of the crossovers twist them together and connect them to the trucks harness darker color is black I believe. I can go take a Pic of you need it.

Slightly off on a tangent here. Kind of a "My Story" so far. I have a Regular Cab (RC) and ordered kind of the whole kit-and-kaboodle. I pretty much called James up and told him that I wanted to upgrade everything but the HU. As far as anyone has noticed, there have been zero RC JBL equipped trucks. So James put together a system for me that included a single sub, the 5-channel amp, the Hertz door speakers with their tweeters to go into the sail panels and the JL Audio tweeters for the dash corners and adding the center channel custom tweeters.

I've seen the couple of comments that the shipper(s) have not done any favors in regards to the treatment of packages. This may be a local issue as it's a constant problem for me. My two boxes of treasure arrived thusly:

    IMG_20190304_170653.jpg

    IMG_20190304_170637.jpg

    IMG_20190304_170617.jpg

    IMG_20190304_170556.jpg

    IMG_20190304_170535.jpg

So, miracle that everything survived, but it did. I extricated the contents to fondle the goodness being super stoked. I couldn't locate the sail panels and center channel tweeters though, so later that night I sent an email to James. Just like he was sitting there at his computer waiting for me to answer any questions, he replied within minutes. He asked me to just send him a photo of what I had.

    IMG_20190304_205442.jpg

Again, within minutes he replied saying that those items were missing as were some other things. I didn't know until then what an LOC was. I didn't even have the chance to ask what more was missing and he replied that he was sending those items out the next day. Exemplary response and service from the days of yore!

While waiting on the missing things, I've tried to install what I can while still being able to use the truck. I put the door speakers in a few days ago, the door tweeters that go in the sail panels are just stuck to the door panel itself with some double sided tape that was in the package. I've been trying to understand the instructions by gleaning a little bit from the three PDFs that James posted in one of the threads and by looking at the photos that you all have posted. Some were slightly confusing because they kinda applied to my setup/truck, but kinda didn't. A lot has changed as well, the last install that I did was on an '84 Hilux I had. I've had the interior of my Tundra apart for various reasons, so that's not a big deal. Yesterday I had the dash and console apart (the console is still out) to try to pre-run all the wiring and have it ready while waiting on the missing stuff to become available at the Post Office. I know that the stuff is there, the frustration is that they're so short staffed they don't get a notice to your box until after they're closed. So now I have to wait until Monday to get my paws on them and then wait until the weekend to try to finish up. The PO get to be a shambles most days.

    IMG_20190224_152040.jpg

That's the inconsiderate patrons though. Bunch of jerk-offs.

Okay, I'm out of photos and I've kind of had my rant and bestowed some well deserved praise upon James, but I do have a quick question:

With the sub, which will obviously be behind the seats, can I mount/secure the box so it's down-firing? So there's quite a bit of room back there considering that it's a RC, but I still need to toss various and sundry items back there and I don't want to have the sub driver exposed to falling debris. The sub box (as can be slightly seen in one of the above photos) does have raised "edges" on the side the driver mounts. I wasn't sure that this was designed as it's intended orientation as I've never had a sub before. It's just sitting in the center of the space for the moment (it's not connected), straight back from the console. I think that this will be the best place, that way when I (or anyone else) needs to put something back there, either door can just be opened and items can pretty much just be blindly set down. If the sub box is down firing, then small items could even be put on top of it. I don't know if that would affect the sound much or at all. Again, never had one before.

*I haven't a clue why photos are rotated, just deal with it. Thanks!

Funny thing, I can actually make sense of that! Side note: The BIC lighter (saw yours in the background) that I keep/kept in my electrical tool box specifically for heating shrink tube, finally gassed out. That sucker was at least 20 years old

This looks good, but what kept you from using the factory tweeter location?

Non jbl so no factory tweeters in front or rear. I first made a bracket but it wasnt going to mount correctly. Drilling a hole in the door was my last resort but it was my best choice.

There is a lot of dead space at the bottom of the door. Plug and main connection is inside door cavity. I ran my speaker wires between plastic and door frame thru a small silicone area. No pinching wires and the silicone seals around the tweeter wire.

Ok, I'm non JBL as well and assumed that we had tweeters in the rear because I had the factory tweeter holes, or I guess they might be called sails?(Or is it only called this when mounted in the front doors?)
