2018 OEM LED Conversion

Got a chance to install all leds in my 2014 Platinum today. Interior, 2018 Tundra OEM Led Headlights, Morimoto XB Led fogs, Turn signals, and all brake/reverse lights.

I highly recommend this conversion to anyone with a 2014-2017 Tundra. It is money well spent, functional, and really updates the whole look of the truck.

Tomorrow maybe Ill get the Tekonsha installed ...

Glad to hear you got the 2018 LED headlights installed. They look great ! Mine are setting on the workbench ready to go, but it's going to be a couple of weeks until I can get to it.

 

The headlights went on smooth as silk, had to wrestle with the fog light housing for a minute before I figured out how to get them off the truck.
I wanted the "All Black" housings but didnt realize there are 2 different "Black" style housings. These are the c210s (smoke chrome/black), the all black housings are c211s. But they still come really close to matching the MGM color of the truck, so Im happy. They are very hard to get a good picture showing contrast.

For my truck, that is exactly the effect was I expecting and hoping for...a near match to the MGM paint but still having a chrome appearance.

 

They are super close with just a little bit of "pop". Its really hard to get the pics to show the contrast.

That is the cheapest "shipped" price I've seen...discount or no discount. Mine were $600.37 "shipped" from Sparks with the 5% off.

But i did finally get a picture that more fully shows how close the *blk/smoked chrome c210s match up the the MGM paint. Im starting to think on this color at least, they may look better than the all black housings.

I went to the sparks site but had trouble finding the 2018 assemblies. Only the 2019 pros. Customer service was closed. I gave up. Will have to give them a call.

Speaking of spark parts, how fast do they ship? Ordered mine on Friday using fedex home delivery ( I know FedEx dont work on the weekend) so I checked all day today and it's still on "ready to ship" status. I was hoping they would ship it today and get it by the end of this week.

 

Ordered mine on 3/2 (Saturday), shipped 3/5 (Tuesday), received 3/7 (Thursday). Invoice says "Cheapest Method 5-9 Business Days $49.22". Shipment was delivered by FedEx, but that seemed fast for FedEx Ground.

I got the exact same LED lamps - black chrome. I'm starting to think that these are getting more exclusive vs the black version on the Pros. Most new Tundras I see have the same black LED lamps as the Pros, making them common.

 

I did notice all the upper trim 2019s at my dealer had the Black c211s....not just the Pros

 

The 2018 LED headlights ROCK. Mine came standard with them but I have to tell you that they light up everything down the road in bright, white light. Also, in high beam mode, it appears that the lows are on at the same time or the highs replicate the low beam pattern. It is excellent!
