No you don't stretch any cover. You'll never get it over the heat sink. You remove the black mounting tab from the bulb. Rotate 180 degrees and remove the tab and mount it. Then install the boot and insert bulb.

Better to not make them and post them because someone will try to do so based on an assumption as if you know. Don't want someone damaging something. I think @Tierhog is just getting a little too excited as I've stated in previous posts how you install them. Don't try and stretch the boot please.

These piles of shit are going back.. Lol.
Started discharging white grease, bulb wouldn't orientate. Probably killed the longevity. Too much drama.

I'm glad yours worked.. But be warned, they aren't for the faint at heart.

Installing them would have been much easier if you would have read the posts I previously made. Discharging white grease? You may have damaged them trying to install them improperly. It's very simple to do if you follow directions.

Perhaps your right. The biggest issue was the cup orientation. The receiver collar didn't allow the orientation desired. The collar with the tabs wouldn't rotate and the directions didn't address the boots. . And down the rabbit hole I went.

    Oh well.

On a positive note removing the grill and headlights are easy.

If your emove the black mou ting tab and insert that own first and secure it with the halogen housing clip you then will place the factory boot over top of that to secure it. After this insert the bulb I to the mounting tab and you can push the bulb and rotate it by the heat sink and get the proper orientation. Did you even separate the mounting tab from the bulb?

I did. It snapped on approximately in the position desired. The biggest issue was the "orientation Allen screw" the directions described. That was a huge mistake. You open that and lithium grease goes everywhere . Then fighting the boot, the grease.. I figured I destroyed it

You don't remove the Allen screw. You just have to rotate the bulb to separate the bulb from the mounting base.

this is from a Honda install but its the NF-S1 Auxbeam lights. Installs the same way.. at the 6:20 mark you see how he removes that mounting bracket and then inserts bulb.. Minus the rubber boot, tundra will be the same way. Hope this helps for those that needs it.

EDIT- he said his boot dont fit, but i am certain the tundra does since others have done it no problem.

Nice! Glad they worked for you! They've honestly slowed my progress in getting the 2018/2019 headlights for months because they've worked so well so I've been using that money towards other mods writing it off as having these bulbs. LOL.

I'm very glad everyone has had positive results as I have with them. I didn't doubt it due to the fact that the bulbs are well constructed and built to match oem halogen bulbs. AUXBEAM really got these right. Appreciate everyone's responses.

That was an excellent video you made. Especially at the 515 mark where you shine up against a wall to show the beam pattern of low and high beam. That the best you'll ever get from a halogen assembly. Great beam pattern.

Full install video, maybe it will help others. For the fog lights, I was reaching in to undo the plug with two hands then taking the bulb out.

Made it look easy! Got a little dizzy from watching the video lol!

Is there a certain direction the fog lights need to face like the headlights do?

No. The leds should just be side to side and that's it. That's the only way they should lock in..
